I do not have EotN, I do have the other two expansions.

What would be the gquickest way to lv20? What is the best profession combo, etc?

Factions, get through to the Kaineng area and run through all of the quests in that area, capture elite skills, you'll level quickly.

There is no best profession combo, just whatever you are good with. Thats why you don't go anywhere without a party.

There is no real point in getting to 20 as fast as possible, also wrong forum.

Yeah in Factions you can easily get level 20 within 5 hours. Do all secondary profession quests on the starter island (complete them all without handing them in, then hand them in all at once when you finish them all). This is very easy and should get you to around level 11. Then just play through the first two missions and get to the mainland. Go to Kaineng Center and pick up all the easy quests there.

Why would you want to rush thru the 2 games you did purchase?
They are fun to play thru yanno....

Well if someone already played a lot of chars chars they would probably have noticed what was fastest.

And I notice your guru join date is 2007......You know where to look...what's ya doin'?
Just because someone create a GW account on that date, doesn't mean they played that long or know where to look I started in 2007, and left about 2007 (later that year), moved on to WoW. Just recently gotten back (last week, in fact).

As for that link .. thats a link to builds ...

Not to shoot you down, but by the time you get to actual end-game you have enough exp to be lv40 or more (if that was possible). And btw, level and gear means next to nothing in the average GW.

But yeah, without runs faction is the fastest way.

Start your character in prophecies, any profession.

Leave presearing fast (pick your second profession).

make your way to or get a run to Lion's Arch.

Get someone to do Sunspears in Kryta with you (To get you to Nightfall).

Goto Nightfall and pick up heroes that will be level 15.

Go back to lion's Arch and from there swing over to Factions.

Get the Welcome to Cantha quest but do not complete it. (This will give you extra healers and nuker, etc...

Load up 3 of your heroes with 4 hechmen from factions, and take ALL the 3000xp quests in town.

Clear out the entire areas while doing quests in Bukdek Byway from Kaineng city. (You'll have extra help from Menhlo and crew).

Very very fast level up.

Enjoy.

True that. Play the storyline. You will be max level long before you get to "end-game."

Guild Wars is a lot different from most MMOs where you need to grind. Getting max level is very fast. Also, unlike most games, the game doesn't begin at the end-game. Throw out all your WoW preconceptions and leave them at the door when you play GW.

For example, after beating the storyline in any GW game, you can go back and reenter any explorable town or mission in the game and do it in Hard Mode (HM), which increases the monsters to end-game level stats and drops. So level 5 monsters you were fighting at the start of the game will suddenly be level 28-30 (not a typo, player max level is 20, but monsters can be higher). Literally the entire game can be endgame content.

I recently started a new Paragon. I was level 20 before I left the starter island. Can't say if it was any faster than any other way, though, but I wasn't specifically trying to be level20, it just worked out that way.

Btw, although I didn't use them for the Paragon, using XP scrolls should make it faster to level up and even the gold ones seem to be cheap these days.
