Im sure the people who will get the points will wait another 12 months for them considering the time constraints and work there putting into gw2, have fun waiting ladies and gents.

sweet deal. i have massssssive accounts but only did predictions in may on like 20 of them. hope it's a good amount they give out ;D

Can we cut out the middle man too and just have the person giving the RPs give zkeys instead? would be even more convenient ... but thanks in advance for the RPs. and if its a fixed amount what is the amount... and is it EVERY account or just every account that did the preds in may?

Sounds to me like they plan on awarding the points to people who got the wrong amount or none at all. Does not sound like they are giving EVERYONE points. Giving everyone points is not fixing the problem that has people upset, it contributes to that problem.

1) Person X got the correct amount of points, had no problems.
2) Person Y got the incorrect amount of points, and still needs more.
3) Person Z got no points, and needs them all.

If they give out the same amount of points, not only are 2 of those groups still slighted, but people who should have gotten none are now getting a benefit they should not.

My guess is this will end up causing another error which will delay things getting fixed even more, and they will make more people mad. Just give up Anet. Close down XTH and ignore the many of us waiting for out points. We dont' need them, we just want them. But I want a game that functions more than those silly points.

Well, she did say each GW account, so that seems clear enough, although I can see how the first paragraph can imply that only accounts involved in the May XTH would get points. Hopefully Regina can clarify that. I just hope they test the one time only provision so we don't have a server rollback from some bug/exploit or whatnot.

To clarify my interpretation: All GW accounts receive X points.

That may be, but I hope not. It would be nice to receive some free stuff, but the problem still exists that people didn't receive what they were supposed to. Let me set a story for you.

You work with 100 people in a factory. On pay day, you get only half your pay check, along with 50 other people. 30 People got no pay check at all, and only 20 people got their full paycheck. Each person should have received the same $100.

A month later, the company issues a reimbursement for the problem. Each employee gets $25.

You still got shafted $25, and had to wait a month to get that much. 30 people for shafted $75. And 20 people got a BONUS of $25 for your inconvenience. Worse, the company also gave $25 to everyone who lived in the city where your factory is at, yet didn't get you your $100 yet.

Do you see the problem giving EVERYONE free points can cause?

Kun Shao's records where not easy to decipher...

If all accounts get an even amount, everyone introduces an even amount of zkeys into the system, their value will equally deflate... nothing to be particularly excited about unless you have 20+ accounts like some people.

The data probably exists but they just don't have a reliable way to read & execute it, that was the whole problem with XTH giving wrong points.

Yeah, I heard they're being generous and they'll be giving out enough for 2 zkeys each. Far better than we deserve..
