2010 Canthan New Year Celebration

Hello, I just wanted to say I love this event/holiday and the dragon arenas / beetle racing games, but since event lasts only a weekend, I feel like there isnt enough time to enjoy it all. There is gathering items for cellestial Tiger, doing the quests, enjoying the party, broadwalk games. Maybe it would be possible to leave Dragon arenas and Roller beetle racing for a week longer? Its amazing fun, and really Id just wish all those minigames would be available whole year ;( Please consider it ~

They'll be back again in April and July, if that's any consolation.

And next year. Trust me, after 4 years of CNY I'm not all that excited about those quests anymore. Still love the festival though.

For the first time since the first CNY I did the quests in hopes of getting the Tiger, only to be reminded oh-so-nicely why I AFKed the rest of them!
Buying the Tiger tomorrow.

My strategy exactly since the Rat wouldn't show up for me after doing all quests on 6 characters.

....and why, why, why, why, why have they still not updated the fireworks guy to craft fireworks in bulk? 3 mouse clicks to get a single firework.....after crafting 7 piles of fireworks I had to go afk rings to rest my index finger

Last Year I have used tons of fortunes and I didnt get an ox, but this year I got mini tiger at 2nd try > _ < ; rawr

I got a Tiger in my first set of Lunar Fortunes, lol.

I'd like the decorations to stay around for at least a week. I like the these decorations better than any other event.

Its interesting that the sugary blue drinks only come as 1 out of the gift bags. Why not 3 like the fireworks. Now if it was 1 redbean cake, yea that makes sense. For us who dont need party pts, it kinda....oh well theres always trading

I actually got 2 minis about 10 lunar fortunes apart.

Got 5 tigers from 10 characters' quest chains. Giving 4 to guildies that aren't as fortunate as me after the event is over.

Strange bug.
I was in my guildhall with a character that was currently in the Monastery. I invited another character from my secondary account, that also has shing jea monastery, but is tyrian born. My party was 4/4 with 2 heroes. When trying to leave the guildhall, I got a message saying some characters could not travel there, and would be left behind. Tried it with 2 different characters, again with a canthan born from shing jea in my GH, plus a tyrian character in the party that certianly had shing jea monastery. Got the same message again. Both Tyrians could map to the Monastery seperately and join up there again. So why did I get that message??? Is it a bug?
Just tried again with different characters, even different accounts. Same thing. Guildies reporting same thing.

Why are so many people in Tsumei Village "LFG Big Bang"? The quest takes like 3 minutes by yourself. There's too many people LFG to be all new players. Are they doing it just to save 1 or 2 bottle rockets?

Idk either. I've been using my fireworks from my lunar fortunes, so I basically have an unlimited supply for the quest.

I'm still farming (haven't opened any for a while) but I got my first Tiger from the fifth Fortune I've opened this year.

There is a bug with the quest. When i was doing it with heroes, after you set off fireworks on the 3rd set of nain, it says quest failed, even though nothing happened. I'm guessing you need someone to stand in a certain spot while the other lights off the fireworks, but im not sure. It was very frustrating and i just ended up abandoning the quest.

I've done that quest on 7 characters with heroes adn had no problem.
