lockpick retention points

Just a quick question. I was chest running today outside Boreal and was noticing everytime I retained a lockpick i was recieving 500pts towards lucky track, I thought the standard was 250 pts for retain lp. Anyone else noticed this today or this weekend?

Same, I noticed aswell. Does it have to do with the Wintersday Redux or..?

There have been a few threads on this.

It seems this weekend was supposed to be a Lucky weekend (more pick/key drops, double lucky/unlucky points), but instead of changing it into Wintersday Redux they pasted it over the lucky weekend and forgot to take that out. So it's double fun!

2 threads have brought up this issue, but i'll just reiterate what they said here.

It is quite possible a-net automated the weekend events and forgot to take the double lucky/unlucky weekend out. The fact that there was a double lucky/unlucky weekend at about the exact same time as last year (around Jan 30th) supports this claim.

WTB Double Lucky/Unlucky points weekend Redux!

Same. It's the only PvE weekend event what I'm looking for. If I knew it earlier I would be chestrunning whole weekend. Damn.

whahaha, yeah and the week after that we want a redux of that week. I don't like it either. I noticed the double lockpick drops, but I realy didn't notice the double lucky points, I would've been spamming my lockpicks aswell...

yeah....would have been nice to have known (I did try out a few chests outside boreal....couldnt KEEP a lockpick...and with a 26% retention rate was getting over 100 pts towards my unlucky title --level 5 here I come!)....did get 3 lockpick drops as well!

They do double lucky/unlucky once every 6 months and blew it. WTF Anet, please fix this, I had what I need stockpiled since the last event in August waiting to max out.
