Yeah, i have this problem on my main character, he have been in all asuran towns and cities, but I can ONLY see Umbral Grotto, everything else is hidden. And when I ask my friend to map-travel somewhere like Rata Sum, it goes there. But I can't see it at my map, unti'l I've been there (once again). So after that if I leave the place and go to Gunnars Hold for example, and I log out, the towns have once again disappeared. So I would appreciate if enyone could help me with this problem, thanks.

Problem Seeing Asuran towns in EoTN

It's a .dat file problem. Had 2 guildies that had the same problem after the Dragon's Lair. Drok's never showed up but they were in town. Walked to Ice Caves and back nothing. Support told them to delete the .dat file and re-download. Town appeared after that. Hope this helps.
Edit: this is from wiki
The file Gw.dat is a compressed archive file that contains all data that is required to run Guild Wars. Apart from game data – like graphics, sounds or texts – that is streamed and saved from the servers when needed, the Gw.dat contains the few user options that are stored on the local machine including video settings and the saved account name.
To save time in-game, it is possible to have the client download all available data on startup using the -image parameter of the executable file. It is also possible to copy the Gw.dat file to another machine to avoid having to download all the files again.
Or you could just delete it and run the executable. You will then reload each map as you go to it like the first time you went there.

Sorry for this probably stupid question: you do know where the Asura towns are located on the world map right? They are south of the Prophecies Jungle (except for Gadd's Encampment, which is west of the Southern Shiverpeaks).
Just making sure (maybe you thought there were linked directly to Umbral Grotto).
