I was beginning to think that I was the only one =s I've got error code 227 though and yeah it happened right when I DLed the new update

I logged off to get update. Can't get back on.

ditto. i went through the ncsoft account management to change my password in fear that i had been hacked, but it accepted my old one and updated to the new one just fine.
so i guess it's just bugged still lame, i had some trades i wanted to finish.

Ok, this is kind of bullcrap. No announcement ahead of time about server maintenance or server downtime? At least Valve reps take the extra 5 minutes to say "Hey, we're doing some stuff and updates, expect a downtime of 3hrs from 2pm to 5pm PST, love y'all, cya."

I read on the wiki before i downloaded the update that it was due to gw2 beta testing and the server would be down until Feb 5th. I dont know if this would cause a login problem though.
