Account Hacked need help!

Well i come back from a break just to find out my account has been hacked! What is the best way to go about getting it back?

Send a ticket to support is best way to get it back. Will probably take you 3-6 days to receive any response...

Support is all you can do. Steel yourself though. You have no money and no items, and MAYBE no characters. They will not return anything.

Support, at most, will be able to just restore your account to you. Everything that has been given away, sold, merch'd or deleted they will not be able to give back to you.

Chances are your characters may have been deleted but I don't really see that as being rampant as everything else being gone. If you had obsidian armor, chaos gloves, etc, those will probably be salvaged for the ecto.

No one here on the forum can help you, its best to go to plaync.com or ncsoft.com and submit a support ticket and include the following

Name:
NCsoft Account name
Guild Wars Account name
Guild Wars CD Keys

Then sit back and be prepared for a looong wait for a responce from NCsoft.

Please keep in mind that ArenaNet or NCsoft can restore your acccount to you once you have proven that you are the actual owner, however any Items,Armor and In Game Currency lost due to this incident, ArenaNet or NCsoft will not be able to restore it.

I still don't get why they don't restore your account from backups. We know they HAVE them, or rollbacks wouldn't lead to massive baaaaaaaaaaaaaaaawwing on forums when people revert to a few hours ago before a dozen ectos dropped for them. All other MMOs I've played do this, and the one I've worked for in the past we were able to restore any account hacked in the last 48 hours (The duration we kept backups for).

We dont pay a net monthly. Theirfore after we buy the game. They dont care about players like us. I'm Sorry you got hacked. But their right. nothing you can do about it to get your stuff back. If you continue to play the game good luck getting your stuff back. Sorry to hear Contact support and hope for the best when you get your account back.
