Quest for the holy focus!

So I need a Q6 inscr air focus for my warrior.Where should I farm it ? (10-11e is fine,I know they don't drop max)

Q6 (with inscrib slot) I'd assume a lower lvl area in nightfall?

Glints challenge on normal mode. the first couple waves drop all sorts of low level blues purples even golds. Ive collected lots of req6 and 7 items only 1 or 2 pts off max. plus you get lots of foci from that run.

Um, whuh? If you scroll down that list there are lots of q6 and q8. Unfortunately the best q6s have only energy +8.

I think he means Q6 =/= Q8. As you say, the Q6s are only +8 energy and he's looking for +10/11 energy.

Actually, with the way he phrases things it's hard to tell exactly what he wants. And you too for that matter - wth is "Q6 =/= Q8" supposed to mean? It looks like "Q6 does not equal Q8", but...... ??

Anyway, I give up trying to figure it out - I don't think it's even possible to get what he possibly, maybe wants.

The collector foci are only +8 energy for q6, and the +10 energy are q8, which is too high to spec into for the OP, like he explained.

I don't think this thread is very difficult to follow. The only mistake the OP made was to say q6=q8, which I suggested to mean q6=/=q8.

Anyway, on topic again: I think the first reply is your best bet: low level nightfall areas (the elementalist plants or something?).

I'll second this. I think level ~15 is a good target for what you want, and Glint's Challenge throws lots of level 15 foes at you quickly.

This statement is false. Additional note, both wikis occasionally have incorrect or incomplete information.

There are a few quests in Istan that you could potentially farm if you have a Nightfall character. Like Assault on Beknur Harbor or some of the quests in Mehtani Keys, etc. Or just hunt the Skale there. Another spot may be the Charr Invaders quest, Defend the Eye, or quests of that nature that spawn lower level foes in high quantity.

Surprised no one has asked this but the bigger question is why do you want an air focus for a warrior?
