GuildWars Admin mode?

Hey.. here goes..

As of the last... week? Started after some updates on Wintersday, GuildWars decided to act funny on me.

I have a shortcut through steam for gw.exe, so i can have the Steam Overlay for chatting within my clan for TF2 and CSS etc

Well gw.exe is still in its original location, I personally have not modified a thing, however, I can no longer load GuildWars through my steam shortcut, not even my start menu shortcut, i MUST right-click > Run as Admin, everytime..

Not the kicker, If i set the properties of gw.exe to always run in admin mode, Steam fails to load it for some sick and twisted reason..

Basically I'd like to know if there is ANY way to make Steam work with GW again so i can have the Steam overlay, I'm constantly chatting with my clan mates about tf2 adminning / helping etc

Final note, i purchased gw in a b&m store so its not activated through steam, its just a shortcut

i've had same issue
run steam as admin too
that should fix it

This may have something to do with the recent security related changes to Guild Wars.

This works but my fps drops drastically in TF2 and Stalker CS, taking if off of admin mode results on no drops..

This is what i thought actually, but then why am I the only one experiencing this? :P

I haven't had any prob with steam and my account being as old as it is, is of course not a steam purchase but can be made a shortcut and the overlay does work. Weird indeed.
