Update was essentially to fix Kamadan lag.
Agreed, how DARE Anet inconvenience you by making an update during a holiday so players can get <15,000 ping while standing in Kamadan.

lol same when i saw the update files i thought it was a skill balance update which would have sure been nice on new years eve
Oh well should stop expecting these sorta things...well it will 'probably' be next week...I'm sure anet knows just how delayed it is and wouldn't release any later than next week...well...i hope so

I hope so as I don't think anyone should get anything by being AFK. So after 10 minutes or maybe 30 max if you're still in the same spot then you get disco'd.
