Did a fresh install of Windows 7 on my computer. The image instructions for Vista no longer apply though, since you cant right click the game>customize. Anyone know how to do this? Thanks!

I don't think you know how Windows 7 works...

When I right click the icon in the games folder, there is no Properties.

If I make a shortcut and click on properties, there's no place to put -image.

Make the shortcut off of the actual game .exe file in Program Files\Guild Wars, not from the Games Explorer. That shortcut will function precisely as it did in XP and Vista.

I'm trying to get this to work as well. I tried right in program files to make the shortcut as someone suggested and it didnt work either.

Anyone else got any ideas?

You can't be serious in not being able to figure this out. It's painfully simple.

Hit up the run box(windows key + R), then do this(adjust dir for your install), and voila:

I don't have Win7, but I have Vista so it may be similar.

Find the GW folder in Program Files. Right click on gw.exe and select "Send To" >> "Desktop (create shortcut)". You should then have a normal shortcut on your desktop that you can edit the "Target" line of.

Or, you can just enter it into the "Run" box as above. For most people, with a default install, the line would be:

"C:\Program Files\Guild Wars\gw.exe" -image

Your Win7 path may be different, and the "-image" is outside the quotes.

thx all, I figured out what I was doing wrong. I had the "-image" in the quotes.

All good now.
