Can't Anet just wait to nerf all farming builds till Diablo3 comes out?

The farming builds like 55/600, Shadow Form etc. have been around for years now, an extra 6 months or so won't matter. Can't they just wait a little longer before smiter's booning those builds into oblivion? At least if that's what they're up to at the Anet office.

D3 will arrive in 2010, if Blizzard doesn't change plans. There will be a strong focus on farming and decent loot/rewards for the time invested. It would be an ideal moment for a lot of farmers to migrate and change focus.

In the meantime they can continue to reduce the SC times when needed. Because from what I understand, the speed clears are Anet's main issue.

ANet keeps making the mistake of taking the feedback of some of the QQ people in guru, as an accurate representation of the majority player base in GW.

Case in point: look at DoA now => Classic Ghost Town. UW and all the other elite areas to follow soon.

Edit : Somehow I agree with with Daesu, one of the best solution for the social side of the game might be to split the skills in PvP/PvE/ElitePvE. SF working only for elite PvE. The fact that I am considering this as a serious solution should point how absurd it has become...

Good idea. And in a similar vein, they could nerf minion bombing when Bin-Laden gets caught.

I prefer to keep up on the news instead of making assumptions on what blizzard is going to do.
