Impersonating a GM?

Whats the punishment for impersonating a gm (i have reason to believe someone in gw is)

Does the punishment truly matter? Report them if they are, and they will get in trouble. There you go.

It's a violation of the EULA, so I'd imagine if you sent A-Net screenies with time, date, and location showing the person impersonating a GM, they would at the very least get a suspension. It's possible that A-Net would decide to out-right ban the guilty party, but the only way to find out is to report them.

I would imagine if you screenied it, ANET will suspend them.

Always note, GMs will have a special text coloring and GM above their heads.

GMs are hardly ever in the game, ever, so rule of thumb if someone says they are a GM they are not. It is against the EULA and is stupid to attempt.

try not to get angry at a gate monkey though, its happened to me and I had to explain the whole thing to some guy who thought I was trying to be a "GM" not a "gm"

if a person is trying to convince you that they are aGM but are unable to prove it by showing the 'GM' symbol over their head, report them
