Maybe time for better servers

anyone here have terrible lag?
cuz it's taking me 10 goddamn minutes to change a simple district
atm i'm still waiting for my game to unfreeze

My whole alliance is ragequitting because of this terrible lag.

What lag? I don't see any lag.

Wow. For once I wasn't experiencing any lag other than from my own crappy ISP. I already knew it was a POS (But I can't get any better. Yay rural areas), so I'm pretty stunned that people are having issues and I'm not. Hmm.

Edit: If it makes any difference, I'm in the western US.

Yes , this morning been having 56k pings, random disconnects after said ping spikes & just a moment ago had been thrown out of game.

Can we get everyone to post where they're from? In the past there's generally been alot of lag for the euro players, but not as much for the americans.

Lag used to always be an issue at festival times and practically never at any other time.
Leastways that's my experience of the net 50% of the time when I am getting slow traffic its an isp problem in my area the rest of the time I never find the cause.

My isp isn't perfect also there are things called Nodes and net traffic has to go through a series of these to get to Europe the USA Asia or wherever.
The further the distance the more nodes and a problem at one could slow or rerout the packets of info.

Point is the internet is complicated and really the only way to maybe blame the servers is if everyone is having problems.
Unfortunatly I have no way to check everyone.

I would check all other possible causes before assuming its the servers.

It has always been a problem for Australian and New Zealand players I remember many posts about this game and bad lag.

Can confirm game lag for myself in the UK and a guildie in Belgium as of 13-30 uk time

guru and other webpages load within 5 seconds

4 dcs from guild wars in the last 10 minutes, average pings of 20k+, freeze every 30 sec or less.

DC's every few minutes, huge lag.

I'm in UK, my Internet connection is just fine. Just when i try to play guildwars today i constantly get kicked out with error 7. Even geting to the login screen takes forever.
I don't believe it has something to do with my connection.
A-net or N-soft , whoever is responsible for theire servers should do something about this, it's geting beyond a joke ... all this started when N-soft released Aion ... it comes to the point where i start to believe they realocated all the good servers to Aion and kept the poor servers to run Guildwars on...
Do they want to kill off Guildwars to make us play a Pay to play game and get away with the fact that they promised use to get a game called Guildwars 2 which is so far back in the making that i personaly don't think they will ever finish it ....all we have seen so far of Guildwars 2 is concept art an a Teaser , did it take them so long to make that??

Anet should forget about GW2, if they can't maintain there servers now, what will happen when GW2 gets out? thats way more ppl then GW1 ever had...
