This years hat same as last years hat?

OK so I was Stoked to get a new hat and then when I got it, I was Very very upset.

It looked like the zombie mask. Come on peps. What is that? If you are too lazy to come up with good ideas at least just eliminate our heads altogether.

No hat or head would have been better than this.

Anyone else kinda miffed at this?

If your not zoomed right in on it, as my guildie was and I could not see the difference between that and the one from last year.

i like the skeleton facepaint, way cooler than the zombie facepaint. it's badass.

There is a difference between the two face paints, just like there is a difference between the words "same" and "similar." The two face faints are similar; they are not the same.

Helpful hint: Zombies are not the same as skeletons.

Get glasses (for you, not your character). The Zombie and Skeleton face paints are not the same, and do not look alike even from a distance.

huh? Skeleton & Zombie?? hmm I got a Charr Hat this years halloween. Didn't notice there where different hats...

@Imperial - There are different hats for different cities. Those in Kammadan recieved Skeleton Face Paint, and those in LA recieved a Charr Mask.

I am looking at the 2 right now and I can see a difference. Sure, they are both FACEPAINT and have a slight resemblance but they are both different.

Zombi != Skeleton.

He's right. This is a friggin fantasy RPG,and they give us the same half baked style facepaint and a shoddy 'charr mask'...why didn't they just put a shock phantom/reapers head onto a human model? It can't be much harder than completely redisgnign a new thing (or in the skeletons case not...).

Anet didn't have to give you anything, so enjoy what you got and stop whining.

clearly they are different, but I agree 100% that the could use a little refresh on these events. The SAME consumables, the SAME tonics, etc. There were extremly creative suggestions on this forum regarding possible masks, etc. You'd think they'd encorporate a little of the community feedback.

What about a hat that makes your whole head invisible? That would be better then these two face paints that both show teeth they both have blacked out eyes, the both show you blinking through the black, they both show the cheek bones, they both show the teeth. The only difference is well, the name and and a bit of well skin or lack of it.

This gets me going.there could have been something else like black hair with snakes coming out, or your head on fire or breathing smoke or your head becomes the MOON, or a cat on your head, or Dracula or a ghost hat or a skeleton skull for your WHOLE head or your head is a giant eye ball or a cauldron or and axe sticking out of your head with blood running down it or
