Lion's Arch Merchant
#1
First Quest is out.
Something Wicked This Way Comes (26th Oct). Just a quick run to King Frozenwind.

Second Quest
Don't Fear the Reapers (27th Oct). A long journey to visit all seven Reapers.

Third & Fourth Quest
Stemming the Skeletal Tide (30th Oct). Capture 1 Skeleton of Dhuum
Every Bit Helps. (30th Oct). Capture 3 Skeletons of Dhuum

Speculation
Gathered from gw.dat
Oct 29th GW Update added Dhuum for the final quest.

- will probably be a solo quest.
- take place in the underworld.
- player is transformed into an Agent of the Mad King with a custom skill bar.

Agent of the Mad King skills
Sugar Rush - speed boost
Sticky Ground - snare
Sugar Shock - knock down
The Mad King's Influence - foes turn into allies temporarily

Third Quest
Everlasting Mobstopper - capture Skeleton of Dhuum
Weakened by Dhuum - can only capture one skeleton at a time

Skeleton of Dhuum skills
Bone Spike - 100 damage to target foe
Flurry of Splinters - 15 damage per second to 5 foes over 3 seconds

Vs Dhuum
Should be the final quest.

Dhuum skills
Dhuum - Dhuum does cool stuff ^^
Summon Champion - summon a champion of Dhuum
Summon Minions - summon minions of Dhuum
Touch of Dhuum - steal health and target suffers from DP
Reaping of Dhuum - move between foes and attacks each one
Judgment of Dhuum - deals damage to everything
Weight of Dhuum - snare, degen, less benefit from healing
Curse of Dhuum - disable res

Player/NPC Skills ?
Dhuum's Rest - put Dhuum to rest, disables ghostly fury
Spiritual Healing - heal Reaper
Encase Skeletal - render skeleton harmless
Reversal of Death - remove DP
Ghostly Fury - deals damage, disables Dhuum's rest

Edit:
There seems to be 4 quests.
Everlasting Mobstopper is probably the third one.
And we will face Dhuum in the last quest.

As to the quest rewards
I doubt it will be a mini-pet and certainly hope that it is more than just tonics/tot bags.
My guess, Halloween Costumes!

The goal it seems is to capture as many Skeleton of Dhuum as possible while avoiding traps/enemies.

Agent of the Mad King skills
Sugar Rush - speed boost
Sticky Ground - snare
Sugar Shock - knock down
Everlasting Mobstopper - capture Skeleton of Dhuum

Mob skills or traps
Bone Spike
Flurry of Splinters

Miniature Mad King Thorn's Guard, pl0x.

Can't let the 20ish of them be worth 10,000+ ectos from the contest now can me?

Custom skill bars and solo festival quests are fun. I might make some time to do these.

Would be pretty funny if this had a top 100 ladder on capture count. Easy way to hand out the prize, mini I assume.

There is something new which is not mini-pets or tonics. No sure whether it will be the reward for the quest.

No idea. Doubt such data can be found inside the client's gw.dat.

Seems probable that *a* reward will be a mini Mad King's Guard with around a mini Polar Bear drop rate. Same basic setup as the quests that dispense Polar Bears during Wintersday.

The "something else" may also be a reward.

I'm not sure if i like the idea of having a mini with very low droprate drop from quests that are only in for one year. But it's a high possibility that it'll be since that wouldn't lessen the value of the contest minis all that much *IF* it is a MKG mini.

If it's a different mini it would be nice to have the droprate around the percentage of the celestial minis instead of the polar mini. As those are "one year only" aswell. (Yes i do realize that they might come back if enough years pass)

sure we can :P
All a matter of opinions though.

All the same these quests will be cool and I'm sure the reward (mini or not) will be nice too.

Good find.

A solo quest eh with set skills. Thank God, I was scared this new Underworld quest would have the Permasins coming in freaking droves.

Is there any news on how you start this quest? I assume we'll get it from an npc, maybe in lions arch? Does anyone know?
