The elites of other professions should appear to someone of a different primary profession, but have a lock over them.
I want to be able to see the elites of the other professions so that I don't have to switch characters, create a new character, or ask someone else to see what another profession has been dealt. I am not asking that those elites be available for selection.

This. It's annoying to either check all classes by myself or ask around what the others have got. Maybe there could be some NPC that gives an overview of the skills, so that one could check all skills, see the synergies and prepare for counters the opponent might have. Well, Guildwiki will do this job too.

At first I didn't really understand this suggestion. But yeah... /signed
Heck, what I REALLY want is some sorta list that just shows us all the skills that are available for all the professions at once (even if we don't have em unlocked). Just a text list with the name of the skills that appears when you talk to the NPC guard who runs the town would be nice. It's just annoying having to flip through 9 different secondary professions to get a look at what skills are available. Granted... I'm sure wiki will be doing this.

yes, would definitely agree with this rather than just allowing people to see elites from other professions. especially if the skills are going to change every single day... I'd be okay with an npc that shows all available skills for each profession or atleast have them posted somewhere. the only way I can figure out how to look at the skills available is either the priest of balthazar (but still doesnt show other prof's elites) or rerolling a pvp into another.

Seems like alot of idiots have missed your point entirely, despite the fact that you clearly said that we should only be able to SEE the elites but that they would still be locked.
Last night I signed in and began looking at the skills with a view to playing codex, but quickly became frustrated that in order to see which skills were available I would have to switch through my characters and look at them all individually.
I think this is a novel idea, this would allow us to sign into one character, check the skills we can use with this profession and any professions we might want to switch to, without having to go through the hassle of switching and moving all our characters over to the outpost.

Having to reroll ten times so that I can see the day's elites is made of fail.
Simplest coding solution is probably to just have an NPC that shows everything in the day's codex. I'd alter the Priest of Balthazar for this operation to reflect the same changes made to the skills tab for players, if I were trying to implement.
