Hey, I would really really appreciate the 1,000k, because I recently, about a week ago, bought my brand new FoW armour for my Necro. I have been saving for this for almost 3 years, and the worst thing happened to me yesterday. I was farming griffons for fun, so I swapped to my 55 set. I zoned into town after completing a flawless run, and went to the merchant. Typically, my luck told true, and I got a lag spike at the merchant. I got a little confused, when i clicked on a sword, to sell and it didn't sell. I clicked it again, and again, and it still wouldn't sell. I disconnected, came baack to a realisation that I hold sold everything in my inventory... INCLUDING MY STUPID OBSIDIAN ARMOUR. So there you have it. 3 years of my GW life down the drain. I can't blame anyone but my stupid self. I should've just been patient and waited. So, for this reason, I would adore you and be in forever debt, if I could hav an opportunity at winning this amazingly generous prize. If I were to miraculously win this prize, I would cover the cost, and either put the rest into savings, or help others out with Obby armour.

I prefer to know what time it is.

I think I should get that load of money because of one simple reason: I'M A UNLUCKY BASTARD >_<. I've always seen friends, guildies and Pugs getting those cute drops on end-chests,(i.e. e-blade, bds, froggie(s)) and n.o.t.h.i.n.g for me >_<
If I get that money, maybe I can count it as one of those high-end drops :P

I wish to be part of your lottery mainly for my guild. We are part of medium sized alliance and my guild is the smallest. Im a co-leader whos account got hacked a few weeks ago and had to re-invite 50 members and have little money left from that and getting back my old armors with the help on my friends. Unfortunatly the guild isnt friendly, meaning no one wants to get on vent or help me recruit(only one).

With this money i plan to spend it on guild activities such as contest, free giveaways and other types of contest to help people in my guild get to know each other and have fun.


This isnt for me, just for my guild to expand.

I think the cash would help because I've been playing for over 4 yrs and i want to max my titles finally before gw2 comes out. The last 3 semesters of college have been crazy busy as I work, i intern 40 miles away and I have classes, and i haven't been able to max the titles. I would definitely give much of the money to my girlfriend who plays gws, and to my best buddies on gws who have been there since the beginning. They've done so much for me and i think it would be an amazing way to show appreciation and love. Also back in July of this year, my account, like many others were accessed by an unauthorized third party. My account was auto-banned to protect itself from further access. I realized I had lost my everlasting searing tonic that I got as a zchest drop. I emailed support and Gaile Gray replied back:

I have checked through and inventoried every retrieved items, and unfortunately, we did not recover that tonic. It is certainly possible that it was stolen by the person who gained unauthorized access to your account, but it would be the only case where all he took was a single item so it doesn't fit the pattern. In most cases he took anything of value, and even salvaged armor to get the components, when they were potentially rare items like Ectos. Yet if you're certain that no one else could have stolen the tonic, and that you haven't simply misplaced it, then I guess it's safe to assume that the item was taken during that incident.

I will note that you had this item taken, but unfortunately there is no way for us to replace the item, since it was not recovered from the thief. I continue to research this incident and I will get in touch if I learn of additional items that we can retrieve, but quite frankly at this time that is highly unlikely.

I'm very sorry for the loss of the tonic, because I know it's a valued item.

I'd like to join in on this giveaway because then I can point out to my fellow GURU peeps here that the OP is giving away not 1000k but 1k. Perhaps no one yet has noticed that the OP typed 1.000k (NOTICE the PERIOD) and not 1,000k (NOTICE the COMMA). But perhaps he/she made an honest typo, or this is yet another fake giveaway, or a genuine giveaway of 1.000k.

1.000k = 1k = 1000g.
