The last day dawns on the kingdom of Ascalon

I will continue to play gw as I normally do seeing as I WONT be getting gw2.

though by the time gw2 comes out I may have stopped playing video games altogether.

No GW2? Why not?

During the last few dawns of GW I will be looting and pillaging all outposts and villages. Take all, spare none!

TBH when GW2 comes out, I'll probably only go on GW1 to see how much everything has changed since the mass migration. There really won't be much point in my mind to play GW1 anymore...

I'll go on one last epic trollfest in RA ad1 and get myself permabanned. Who wants to join me!

When GW2 comes out and I know what really matters for my Hall of Monuments, I'll go back and fill up on what is necessary and then start the game.

the GW1 servers wont be any different then they are now. just as deserted except for the random event weekend that still interests people. prices might go up on stuff closer to a real release date, if that date ever comes, then probably crash worst then ever a few months after release if GW2 improves on the stuff they couldnt or wouldnt improve on in GW1

I'm pretty sure I'm going to log back on a lot to finnish up maxing titles, gettin cool stuffs. Heck, a lot of the player base might stick arround for a while, and I think my guild might be carrying over to GW2 but we'll always have the GW1 guild, so we can go between games and play for fun.

And on another note, I never really thought about it, but it probably will be sad....

Why do you play those crappy games? Civ IV and Swords of the Stars or GalCiv2 are much much better.

Plus, I just don't think they will leave GW1 up for very long after GW2 comes out. GW1 is already pretty dead in 3/4ths of the game now as it is.

I just went from Kamadan to Hell's Principie and I wasn't able to get into one pug except at THK and even there the leader used 3 of his heroes.

Every outpost other than Lions Arch,Temple of ages, Ascalon, Piken square (why the hell do so many players hang out in Piken Square?) Henge of Denravi and that middle one in the desert are just barren.

Kamadan is packed of course because that's the world marketplace it seems. But, the outlying outposts even in all of Nightfall are pretty barren or just have zombies standing in them. No chat, no movement just dead people standing up.

GWEN has some activity, but, just like all the rest it's mostly in the main HOM area and any outlying outposts and cities there is nothing till you get to Rata Sum.

Factions is dead as well except for the marketplace and Kanaing (sp) getting into a group or pug later on in that chapter is nill to none now. The game really has turned into pretty much a solo fest for the majority of it because much of the population has gone and what is left of it is spread out from here to timbucktoo.

I think I have planned to get my old mates that I used to play with back into the game one last time that are mates in real life, and some that aren't. Get all of them to play and do UW/FoW/DoA/Urgoz/Deep. I'll pay attention to my guild, get involved with all the events going on. I will also do the last minute rush for my HoM, make it as perfect as possible. All the money I make from actually playing the game, fow etc. will pay for fixing up my HoM.

I'd just buy couple of things I can buy with my money for the HoM, then I will take a look at many screenshots I took over couple of years in GW (including those very first screens when you are still a noob..) before jumping into the GW2

I'll be playing my witch doctor not caring about GW2.

Oh I don't know yet. I'll probably play a whole lot before beta and launch out of pure excitement

so you're going to make a tonne of profit in GW1 and will be stinking rich....

To be honest I'll probably be very sad. I think what I'll do is blow all the money I have built up on stuff for my HoM or a big going away party for the community. I don't know under what circumstances I'll finally end playing GW, but I think I'll definitively end it. More than likely with a ceremony to commemorate my characters.

My Dervish and my Ele in my own mind move on by heading off into the unknown east beyond the Charr homelands (where eventually their descendants come back for GW2). So maybe I'll log out with each of them as far east as I can.

My Warrior and my Ranger help the Ascalonians escape from the descending Charr hordes, so maybe I'll move them to Ascalon before I log out.

And my others.. not sure.

I like that idea of logging out with them in one of the after worlds however, though I think I'd try to place them in 'heaven' instead of 'hell'.

Myself, I'll probably convert my stockpiled materials into elite armours for the HoM.

I think he means it as if he is telling a story. IE-stating that (in the future) GW2 has just a few days until release, what shall you do? I dont think that he states that on tuesday will mark the release of GW2.

I will be sitting in my HoM, on my Ranger.

My monument will have 18 white minis, one purple (Joko ftw), and one gold (my mini destroyer, yay for me.)

I will still be trying to buy Elite Fur-Lined Armor.

I will proceed to dance in ToA American Distict 1, wearing nothing but a Dread Mask.

I will be grinding towards max Asura rank.

I will get a run though Sorrow's Furnace.

I will /kneel in the Tombs of the Primeval Kings, screenshot, and log out.

I will proceed to kick major ass with a Charr Ranger using all the crap my GW1 char had.
