Sealed deck coming out!!!

@guildwars when is the sealed deck formation coming out?

So what do you guys think is this arena going to rock or flop?

There is great potential, but also heaps of room to fail

I'm going to hate it just because they will delete my beloved TA for it -_-

Flop if the rumors of week skill changes are true.

it will suck because they are either
A. going to give us too many skills to pick from allowing the same builds we saw in TA.
or
B. Gives us not enough skills making every bar terrible.

Then it will just be your skill. TA like it is now is purely based on using the metaest build possible and a bit of timing.

Sealed deck will be with arranged teams or random?
Also lets hope with the removal of TM they change Gladiator Title so it can be easier to get.

why on wiki says is a GvG gametype ? lol ? , I thought SD would be random or something like that.

Sure looks like it is teams, since there is trading of skill cards.

I think it will be like a mix of TA with Magic: The Gathering.

Still a tad upset theres no wa i will be able to have the commander title or the statue in my HoM

From the developers notes;

If one isnt able to add the Commander title to the HoM, they can add the new SD title instead. (If i understood that correctly)

So unless you really wanted to see the Commander title in your HoM, don't worry, you can add the new SD title instead. Just apparently can't have both at once.

Anyway, looking forward to trying out this new format.

People will play it for a month just because it's a new arena with set skills weekly or however often they will alter the decks. After that month it will become a ghost town like every other PvP area excluding AB/FA. The playerbase simply isn't here anymore.

^ This. If the skills are only cycled weekly, this is going to be a bigger shitfest than HB ever could have been. And I really don't doubt that they'll do it that way. I can't see them taking the time to do it more often than that considering how the last few months have been. And with skill updates only once every 2 months, SD could become the biggest lamer arena ever.

They said they're removing TA/HB because of the degenerative meta....but could you imagine a meta that only changes from specific builds once a week and the skills only change once every two months?

This does not bode well.

Uh wait let me get this straight. What is meant by the skills only change every week? That is not sealed deck...(unless I'm misunderstanding).
