Some maps giving you decision to leave this game for short time or forever

Guys why you maked some maps very very boring. Like in Nightfallen Jahai. I read the guide, didn't find advice how to explorer this map. I tried all heroes and all henchman. I always die in this map. To me two hits and I dead.
I have best armor. How I can play this game like that? why I need armor if I am ranger and from two hits and i dead. Problem is with Torment creatures. And Skills rechage 3 sec more. Its like hard mode. Some guys left this game becouse some maps is very boring to play. Enough me that always you must kill and kill and kill. where is resource collection, where is some place for explorer.
This thing that always kill and kill is became game boring.
Make better, bigger map, and less monsters, give to players decide how his want explorer maps (just go from A pont to B (from one outpost to other); explorer map (to search treasure, nice place), slay monsters or go collect some materials). Don't put a lot of monster in small map, because always killing is becoming boring.

First of all, what? I could barely understand what you said due to your grammar, but I think I got the gist of it.
Secondly, what? I've never heard of anyone quitting the game because of one map. Nightfallen Jahai is suppose to be difficult. What fun would this game be if there weren't some difficult parts?
And thirdly, from the sounds of it, the map isn't the issue, just your playing skills. Get a better build, use better builds on your heros and you shouldn't have a problem.

I can understand it all well, although the grammar is not good.

Guild wars isn't a game just for exploring, but i agree that it is too big in itself. If you want to complete everything and for one-two hours a day, you'd be playing it for your life. If you think it's frustrating, try do something else for a few days or a week, or just take a break from the game altogether and come back stronger next time.

English obviously isn't this fella's primary language so there's really no reason for you guys to point out the errors in the OP.

On topic:

Places like Nightfallen Jahai are supposed to be difficult. More protection skills (Protective Spirit, especially) on your monks could help with your problem of getting 2-shotted.

You are in the hard part of the game. Nightfallen Jahai is supposed to be boring to explorers, go to eye of the north. You also need to work on your skill bar. From what you said, I can tell you that you should also quit, World of Warcraft is better for you. It has lots of exploring, less monsters, more treasure. Actually, all it is, is exploring and treasure.

Did you just say you're dying in 2 hits in Normal Mode? On a ranger? I would imagine that your health must be under 300, and that your heroes are terrible.

Check your skills first. I've seen players use 7 attack skills and a rez. Most players use 3-4 attack skills and the rest healing/prot type skills. Next check your armor and hero armor. Avoid using superior runes on yourself and heros unless the build really requires it. Use surviver and vitae runes on your armor and hero armor. Good luck.

I gave one example of maps. Here is a lot of maps where is no nothing, just monster. Ofcourse was very beatifull maps, like first map in first campgain, in nightfall some very nice city, some other area.

If WoW have skills like here and missions, so I chose WoW. Becouse when you tired to do missions, kill monster, so you can something craft, collect, explore. If I rest couple week from this game, so I never back again, maybe after 1 years. You just don't back to play this game, becouse you know what you do in this game. Like I said slay kill mobs and kill mobs, if not mobs, so players. This game something have from Lineage (ofcourse NCsoft is same company of both game), have not to much armor, armor have only defence, weopons aswell, collecting system only from monsters. I get from Prophecies weopon and armor, and using untill Nightfall missions. In all missions, or in all game you using one armor and weopon, becouse you didn't find better one. I looked to all weopons and armor. they maked rune system, becouse no need to do more armor.

If same system will be in GW2, only one thing is only kill monsters. So I don't buy this game, becouse GW2 will be same like GW.

About Guilds. Why here need Guild? Only for Tournament.

One thing I see in game. I am in big guild. About ten player don't playing 2 week, other 10 - 1 week, other is Kicked from guild becouse to long not playing. I think what players try this game, playing untill have trial or less time. See what here nothing interesting and don't buy this game.

Instead of this GW, if I like do mission, explorer area, so better I buy Oblivion.

WoW aswell have a lot of monster in maps, but maps is to much big ;-). What I don't liked in WoW, becouse quest system isn't interesting and skill system poor.

Anyway I leaved this game from this day. And I think to GW I never back. This game will be like exmaple of MMO evolution ;-)

well unlike most games this is about skills and tactics not brute force and leveling.

this game are very very different then Wow in why that are because guild wars is NOT Wow. You cannot not make similar comparisons say halo and wow. they two very not same game and if i wanted to shoot in WoW i finded not any gun. why are this the case? Guild wars is very very story base and the missions you have play in are meant to telled a story rather than in WOW where u wanted to fight the Lich King and has to kill 5 wolves doesnt make sense to me why play Wow?? you never finish the story. incomplete game so i quite wow.

No but really, to shapras, GUILD WARS IS DIFFERENT THAN WOW, from what i understand is that you find monsters in guild wars to be too close to each other compared to WoW. It seems that you are pulling (aggroing) too many groups in at once. fight only what you can kill.

and maps in guild wars are not meant to just stroll around in. Other than chests and hidden treasure and quests/missions, there is NOTHING OF INTEREST to do in those maps other than fight. So yes, if you hate fighting monsters and want to craft weapons or armors and skip around then go back to WoW because GW1 will be a waste of time for you. As for the guild your in, there are many other active guilds looking for recruits, join those.

PS. not trying to diss WoW, so srry if it seems like i am.

None taken from me, after the 3.2 patch's graphical upgrade that made my graphics card obsolete WoW could go die in a fire for all I care.

If you actually want help, join an active pve guild(many DO help), or at least post your skillbar here so we can comment on it. Same with the heroes' bars. You can get far with a bad build, but eventually you'll hit a wall.

You said something about you only use one weapon, so I think your play style is a part of the problem. You should have at a minimum 2 bows-1 long range to pull and 1 short range for fast firing. You should also have other bows for various conditions like poison modifiers, vamp, etc. Max damage bows are easy to come by.


If you posted just to complain and say you're leaving forever("ragequit" in Americanski), then buh-bye.

You complaining that the maps are boring, or that you're getting killed alot? Cause I remember there's one quest that if you take it, you'll be swarmed pretty much as soon as you step out into nightfallen jahai. If you got that quest active, either go for a strong defensive holding team build so you can wear them down, even if you die you'll get ressed right there anyway so no worries about a long walk back. Or just abandon the quest and carry on heading to the next mission. Without that swarm at the start, nightfallen jahai isn't that much different to normal maps.

Oh, and either bring massive aoe or none at all. Bringing weak aoe will only mean you injure a lot of guys but not kill them, then all the torment demons will replicate and you'll be swarmed.

honestly the only thing i understood was you were dying really quick. which means you have really low health to begin with.

even if you can't speak english well, i can't really even get an idea of what you are trying to say.
