everyone who sees my name knows which profession char I'm on and theres no memorizing.

Your naming concept makes me think of Toyota.

Jack McKennie - A name I've been using in RPGs for years

Saint Ajura - Mostly a Final Fantasy reference.

Zazie the Fox - Partly a Trigun reference, "Fox" because later have him master a form of martial arts based on the unblockable moves in the "fox' series. (Way of the Fox, Golden Fox Strike, etc..)

Viktor Karamazov - Warhammer 40k reference.

Spearmarshal Laeris - The Spearmarshal part should be obvious..Laeris is just something I came up with.

High Priest Sammaell -Judeo-Christian mythology.

Cyrus Skarheart - I thought it sounded like a good Necromancer name.

Rassius Faroda - Tales of Eternia and Ogre Battle.

Alexander Baptiste - All Guild Wars, few people ever catch on to where the last name comes from.

My name have had ever since the start of GW and in other online games mainly
UrU UU Myst Online etc and as I'm Australian well it just fits.

Lately I've been drifting towards Egyptian gods for names, but honestly my first char's first name Shoyon was a twist off of one of the old neopets.

*hangs head in shame* at least I deleted him :P However another char that was also inspired by neopets still hangs around and his name is Shoyiku. The replacement to Shoyon was Wraith, because at the time Stargate Atlantis had just come out and I was really into it.

My char's last names (which shall remain anonymous) has always been my handle in other games.

My main, Belila Jadystace, is my AD&D wizard who has been with me for many years so I introduced her to the digital age . The rest of my characters have a variety of names from various languages that have meanings I think suit the char (EG Djesrit on my monk, Heretkau for my rit) or are names from some of my favourite literature (EG Selethe).

My hairier half uses a basic system similar to one posted before. his chars are all Memeth of (insert random word here). Thus he has Memeth of Bacon, Memeth of LLama, Memeth of Hamster etc.
Hes got an odd sense of humor but I love him really.

Well I must say, It took most of my effort to conjure up my name but...Nathans Necromancer, must be the most creative and well thought out name ever.

Nah I'll be honest I'm not that creative and Nathans Necromancer seemed to work.

Fae has been my nickname since I was born in my family. apparently I looked like a changeling as a baby, and Orchid's are my favourite flowers.

I name my main Spiritual Weirdo.

Spiritual because he's a rt and deals with spiritual world and weirdo because ritualists are weirdoes.

It's simple as that but I love my name!

5 of them are named after gods:

Mo - Amaterasu Dwaynakin

Me - Maya Lyssandris

The rest are named after characters of stories I write. Most of them with the surname Arkanere.

I gave my paragon the most terrible name I could think of: Tehr Abul.

I just make them up in my head at the spot.. lol one of them is called Bruce the Basher!! xD but i was little then so i didn't know u could take the name further.

After songs mainly. Or i make fun of people with roleplaying/serious names...like Gladiator Epic

I usually make the character, and then I try to find a name based on the ethnicity they look like (for example, my old Assassin looked really Asian-looking, so I named her Ai Ming or something like that, and my Dervish is named Hassan). www.behindthename.com, www.gaminggeek.org, and Google I use to find first and surnames.

My other characters are just your stereotypical generic fantasy names, like Sylverhart and Greycloud (taking two words and adding in superfluous ys n shit). Sometimes I use a fantasy name generator for the first name (Rinkworks, yay). Either way, I'm one of those nerds that make stories and whatnot with her characters, so naming is taken seriously and can be a rather long process for me.

Most of my chars are just random Final Fantasy references or shit from adult swim cartoons.

Elvira Delfire: (visigoth origins, random lastname.) Completely random character name. Had no real plans for a name so I just put something together. Ele.

Mistress Ex: Named after an original character of mine. Necro.

Abena Neo: African name meaning "Born on Tuesday" which is true, she was created on a tuesday. I do forget what "Neo" meant. Monk.

Tahiti Kephn: Random first name, Egyptian last name. Paragon.

Chlotsuintha Abla: Visigoth name, also named after another original character of mine. Derv.

Aldornia Hale: Visigoth. Named after original character. Mesmer.

Vomit Blood: Non-serious, random name. Sin.

Viveka Cinnamon: (forget Viveka's origins). Cinnamon is a hippy name, gave it to her, since she's a ranger and has red hair. Ranger.

Areagne Dho: Visigoth origins, random lastname. Rit.

Eaven Khurtis: Visigoth first name, random lastname. War.
