Competitive PvE

I've been a fairly active user of the old thread here: http://guildwarsguru.com/forum/showt...php?t=10212734

And i'd like to ask the people who work so hard with this site,

is there any chance of a sub forum dedicated entirely to Showing off Peoples / Groups / Guilds / Teams . acchievements in different areas ?,

As such. a sub forum where you may post. but only posts containing a screenshot of the above mentioned criterias - as such. if i were to post. there could go anywhere between 1-3 days before the post would appear. cause an admin. or responsible person for that sub forum, would have to approve the post. before it would show,

and how many people would see a point in this ? - i know a great deal of people who would, myself included,

please /disguss

No one gives a crap that you clear UW in 2 minutes dennis. Maybe do these things for your own satisfaction rather than showing off to a bunch of people that you don't know...

there are countless guilds - that aim only to improve times.
im suggesting a forum where everyone. both people who's done this for years,

and people who just started doing it, can showoff their personal bests.

i know that alot of people today see speed clears as a new meta - and a new way of playing the game,

I see no point in this either and there's already a forum called " screenshot exposition" how's this any different?

These posts are really annoying, and don't really serve much purpose unless they come with the "how I did it" explanation. Typically of course, the accompanying screenshot(s) have all the professions, skills, cons, etc blacked out so all that is visible is usually the end-chest and your time.

Also, moderator validation for threads is annoying. It works well for the Community Works forum because most of what is posted for validation contributes to the community. "Look at me!" threads just prove that you like to be obnoxious, and really, no one cares. These threads always turn into a flame war anyways about who used more black dye on their armor, so there really isn't much of a point.

i think u should name the section " I can button smash shadow form faster than you"

No thanks, I know it's a good accomplishment, but no need to show it off.

Nobody with actual gaming skill is impressed by your "accomplishments".

This is a bad idea.

PvE players and competition do not mix on these forums (see: every single thread with something to do with competitive PvE).

Not going to happen.

the elite players in guildwars go for the fastest times possible and generally like to know others times.

personally i wouldnt like to see a new forum purely for this as theres not that many pro players around anymore who care about times

I don't think we need an entire sub-forum, but I find the screenshot thread useful to see builds / how fast it is actually possible to do stuff in.
