Speed Clear Guilds

With the constant call for a nerf to Shadow Form and/or speed clears of elite areas what do you think will happen to alot of these guilds that form solely to do speed clears should any of these nerfs happen?

SC'ing isn't just about OP skills. It's about easily exploitable game mechanics and poor dungeon designs. So, they can nerf SF, they can nerf CoP, and they can nerf all the other SC builds......but people will still be able to do it until they fix the real problems (poor game mechanics and dungeons).
I say: Nerf SF and reduce Obsidian Flesh to -33% speed, this makes you vulnerable to attacks at least, and you have to fill almost your entire bar with defensive stuff to reduce that to zero in HM (for SC around 5/8 skills) plus you have to watch more things than just SF. Don't think I don't enjoy using SF though, but I used to do UW clear with my Obs Flesh Ele and I found it way more fun ^^

honestly, it will make no difference to the better guilds. People were crying for RoJ to be fixed and CoP to be nerf - it happened and oh look we can still complete DoA, the "hardest" content, in under an hour. Some frenchies in the alliance have already tested DoA without SF tanks and still got within a respectable time. Of course, people will just pick out the next best thing, call it overpowered and get it nerfed, which will happen time and time again.
Personally, i've completed the deep HM in 18minutes without SF or pve skills - where do you draw the line on whats 'overpowered' and what is terrible level design. If you break down many of the Elite areas and Dungeons into what actually needs to be killed to continue, you'll realise its no wonder people are completing them so fast.
PuGs and not so experienced teams get hit the hardest when something reasonably easy for unorganised groups gets nerfed.

Agreed, OF should be slower, but in this case it was faster. And yes they are comparable. There is always a counter to everything in this game. You just have to figure it out.
Exactly. The irony of all of this is that the people who are bitching about nerfs are going to be the ones that struggle because of them. SC Guilds will always be able to SC, unless they somehow fix the "elite" dungeons. However, normal players would have a harder time finishing at all if all the skills they want nerfed get nerfed.
