Here's some tips on becoming a pro exp no noob 'uwsc'er

Make your own guild and put the tag [UWSC]

Show off your lowest rank title. Kurzick/Luxon Supporter (1) is the best, if you have it.

Advertise yourself as such: "pro exp no noob no fail lfg!!!"

You should get a group easily with all those credentials. Now once you're in a group, and the cons have been collected for, don't scroll in, especially if you're the leader. Let someone else cave in and spend their 950g scroll.

Ok, you've entered UW. Likely the chamber will fail somehow and the necro will die right off the bat, so make sure you don't bring rez scrolls. Bank on someone else having them, or having to restart if the necro dies. This is most important if you're the vale sin. Don't try and protect the necro either by bodyblocking the aatxe that's coming for the necro. Any good necro can just tank it.

If you're the chamber, die as many times as possible and hopefully the vale team isn't able to save the lab reaper.

If you're mtns and the way into the mtns is blocked, leave it, so when pools, plains and pits come, they all explode in the traps.

If you die as pits on the way through mountains, it must be pools or plains fault.

If you die in the pools, blame it on the charged. They can be so darn tough sometimes, especially if you like to agro all of them.

If you're vale and you fail, blame it all on the other guy and make sure it's in caps so everyone takes your side.

If you're super pro, then come in as mtns, die early, go afk and just leech.

Don't bring a BU. better that your team cannot finish then you having to spend 4k.

The golden rule: if you do fail, blame it on someone else. If its obvious its you, unplug and replug your ethernet cable back in, blame it on lag, ask what district it was that you entered and vow never to use that district again.

If all else fails, just leave.

During 4H, get sig hummed, and act surprised, then blame it on the necro for not teleporting fast enough

If you're the leader, and you or your guildy fails, zone the team out quickly so no one knows who failed and everyone blames each other.

Promise you'll pay someone back if they use a BU, then leave and don't pay them.

If you do somehow get the end chest, grab it quick and kill the ice king before others have the chance to open it. This is especially effective if someone is in a tough spot and needs some more sins to take the agro away before he auto rezzes.

Teleport your team at some random time and pretend it wasn't you.

If the team tele's to plains to do 4H, farm the riders nearby the plains reaper and bring agro to the reaper.

Find a creative way to kill the pools or mountains reaper.

Don't bring any extra money to pay people back if you fail.

Bring glyph of swiftness so you can farm after everyone else dies/cons run out.

Don't ever resign, ever. it's a sign of weakness.

Blame bodyblocking and rubberbanding on lag.

Change your name so there is an X at the beginning and end, like X Amazing X.

on a slightly more serious note any advice for someone (me) who is used to doing chaos planes solo (with con + fire) and wants to give UWSC a go?

I dont have a guild (well I do but i t has 3 members) because I play on and off and most guilds don't like that. So no pro guildies to go with then.

what might be a good option to choose easiest/most similar to solo chaos, (will the build allow me to practice first i.e. kill grasps and run where i need with no help?)

If you are a vale sin, make sure that you didn't bring any res scroll, and refuse to take one from the necro...
If you are a vale sin, just mess up the chambers aggro, to make the mob kill the necro - or, if the chamber is "too" fast, even kill the reaper...
If you are a vale sin, just collect all the graspings to the wrong side of the house, and watch them go to bangreap apart the necro, as he is stucked there because of the UWGS quest...
of course blame the necro all the time...
Yeah - You can guess: I play UWSC with my necro...

Although, I am most upset that you forgot:

Once you've entered, ask everyone where the rest of the main team are for a fast FoWSC.

Few more tips:

Pay 850 for cons instead of 1k

Don't body block at the start, be sure to run to the door so you can get super-fast time

Agro the charges coming down at the beginning of mountain, because that makes the run through more interesting

Get crippled often, and demand an escort from the other terras

Vale team be sure to not take restore as this will make doing mountain impossible, giving him time to farm elsewhere

Pools be sure to kill every charged blackness because they drop ecto

Pits if you kill an allied spirit then blame the fail on vale team, even if vale quest is complete (and vice versa for vale).

Wastes, after you die from smite hex, inform the team that the coldfires and smites are glitched and fighting each other so death was unavoidable

Mountain, if you fail, tell your team you have a 7-stack of behemoths or that mountain is blocked (they will most likely resign at this point)

If you see someone killing terrorwebs run up next to them for lava font and to help

If you die during 4h, you call it a shadow form glitch

1: All the other teammates are noobs without any doubts.

2: You can never fail. If not, ragequit and apply the first law.

3: You are the only player with lags, glitches and parent spikes. If not, apply the first and second laws.

Manage to kill your reaper once your area is done so you can blame all the other noobs, hey you did your job...

1. Use a BU when it isn't needed, and demand everyone to pay for it.
2. Die,watch other people and complain how slow they are going.
3. Bring your l33t weapons into UWSC so everyone knows how cool you are.
4. As the vale support, go afk right before the group teleports because people need to be rezzed.
Meh, all I can think of right now. I'm bitter too. I stopped pugging UWSC a while ago, and since my friends and I don't do it anymore, I really just don't do it.

My input: Once cons have popped, ask for directions to your area.

Don't forget when someone asks for everyone to pay 1k instead of 850, to complain about the 150 difference and then say to the person with cons 'But it's only 150g, who cares'. This has quite the opposite effect of making you look like a tool.

Say you have a BU then when someone else asks you to use it either demand 5k or say you forgot

blame the necro...it's always his fault.

vale sin is at the house aggro'ing and i'm casting all my spells and he cacks and tells me he got 'e-burned' wtf? how about paying attention to your sf douche bag.

heres one...

When your party loads up and puts up cons, say " I didn't get the cons, you put the up too quick before i loaded. "

bascially everything OPPOSITE of what he said is good

1. If your the necro, don't bring rez. Bring something else.
2. When the chamber aggros, get the 2 other aatxe on the other side and bring to necro.
3. Don't do your area. Go farm instead.
4. For payback, after you finish your area, kill the reaper. Make sure you run away fast enough so they cannot see the reaper gone.
5. Go naked and claim you can do UWSC without weapons or armor.
6. When the mnths gets aggro before the run to plains, get his aggro instead. This is kindness.
7. When running to plains, if pits got blackness on him, let him have fun with them. If pits fail, blame on him for not being fast enough and make him pay cons.
8. When you are through with your area, go leech the other areas.
9. In 4h, don't attack them. Simply run from them and let them kill reaper. Then blame the opposite side.
10. Go to wastes after you body block. Leech his drops and make sure to stand next to him near dryders.
