Would the following team build work in ToPK HM?

What if I used cons? If not, any suggestions to make it work? Like add an SY ranger or something?

Tombs has been done with B/P teams for a LONG time, and it has always worked. Typically 1 Monk, 1 MM, 1 Orders Necro, and 5 Rangers. Even though pets don't provide corpses for minions anymore, they do provide bodyblocking and fuel for the Necro's energy. Can also put Death Nova on them. If done right, there is very little that attacks the team, just a few Grasps that sneak through. But if going with a PUG or new people, chances are you won't aggro properly and there will be a larger strain on the Monk. Best bet is to use R/Rt for SPlinter Weapon and a hard rez (FoMF or DPS).
This was very popular about 3 years ago, I ran it twice a night and many more times on the weekend back then. However, they introduced HM (hardmode) and nerfed soul reaping so the mm didn't have infinite energy anymore, also the death of the pets no longer triggered SR. Then Nightfall introduced Splinter barrage and the pets went to the way side. If you can work it now, more power to you, but there are many more faster ways to run that dungeon now including some solo versions.

Yes, it works in HM, but I wouldn't use the PvX builds. They have the MM running 12+1+3 Death and 12+1 Soul Reaping, but also using Barbs and Mark of Pain. Without any attribute points in Curses, Barbs and MoP won't be much use and waste energy and skill slots. Then they have the Orders Necro running Awaken the Blood with no self healing outside of Heal Party.
General rule before PvE skills were added was:
1 Orders Necro with BR for the Monk, usually Succor as well, and team support healing via Heal Party. Orders Necro was a self healer, so the Monk didn't need to worry about him.
1 MM with melee minions only. Fiends are nice, but you want the minions to body block, and melee ones are far better at that. If a human, take Death Nova only to use on pets, or if you are good at targeting the minions.
1 Monk with a hybrid WoH build.
1 Ranger with Winnowing.
1 Ranger with Favorable Winds.
1 Ranger with Barbed Trap/Dust Trap to pull.
At least 1 Ranger with Rebirth, but most should be R/Rt for Splinter. With PvE skills available now, you can make all the Rangers R/Rt for Splinter now, and instead of using Rebirth take Sunspear Rebirth. Problem with that is it is a 1 use skill since the only boss is at the end.
May even be worth taking a Ritualist to cast Splinter on the Rangers at a higher Channeling spec, and take some spirits as well. But since HM Tombs runs have been done by B/P teams since HM was introduced, I'd say it is definitely possible.
