Bug Fix

* Fixed a bug that allowed Heroes to charm the Rainbow Phoenix.
* Fixed a bug that prevented players from placing Zaishen Coins in storage.
* Fixed a bug that prevented the icon art for the Keg of Aged Hunter's Ale from displaying properly.

Miscellaneous

* The "/roll" command can no longer be used on PvP maps.

This update was as expected -- except the changes to /roll. Nicely done. xD

No more HBFF, eh? I guess now that there is a Z quest, they chose to deal with it.

Hehe, too late. I already won my HB matches for today's quest. But still, kind of unexpected that they'd do that now. At this point, it was kinda part of HB culture.

Oh well, that doesn't mean people who play HB can't think of something else like... "whoever is the blue team should resign."

Glad they fixed that zoin bug quickly.

So how long until everybody just meets and does RPS?

The only solution for this is to completely remove emotes from being usable in a PvP map, which will be the inevitable final blow in the player base of HA. Of course, at that point people will start counting the letters in hero names and the one who uses the least wins...

Quick, everyone switch to rock, paper, scissors, and farm the Zquest like there's no tomorrow! Because it's gone tomorrow.

Create PvP toon.
HB Z Quest.
Rock, paper, scissors.
Z reward.
Delete toon.
Repeat.

The timing of this /roll update is blatantly obvious.

I already /roll and turned in my HB quest!

Glad they fixed to coins though!

tomorrow, rock, paper, scissors will be forbidden. maybe all emotes.

maybe we are not even able to talk anymore. maybe players settle that blue quits...


maybe ANet learns that Hero Battles were just a nice idea that screwed up badly right from the very start.

people would play HB's more it they would love them, without any extra reward or incentive.

Wow does what you say still work by which you can keep turning the quest in for the reward?

Funny how anet start to care about Hero Battle's when an exploit starts but malipilation of the title track is fine?

*Hero Battles are now displayed in black and white.
*Capes have been removed from Hero Battles.
*There are no longer red teams or blue teams in Hero Battles.
*Chat features are disabled for the first 60 seconds in Hero Battles.
* The "/rock" command can no longer be used on PvP maps.
* The "/paper" command can no longer be used on PvP maps.
* The "/scissors" command can no longer be used on PvP maps.

Yes, I'm assuming /rolling was frequent for the title track, faction, rating points, or whatnot(don't know or care, never been to HB), but now there is a zquest for HB and PvP character creation and deletion coupled with the ability to store coins in storage means they care I guess.

Now let's see how good rollers do with the RPS or team colors until ANet removes thoe too...

I don't know why it's so bad to let heroes have a shot at charming the Rainbow Phoenix. I can understand with wanting to prevent other players riding on someone else's accomplishment, but why prevent their own heroes?

Z-Coin update was overdue. Same with the Keg of Ale. I just checked, they did not mention that they fixed the bug for Mini Greaseds not displaying.

/roll feature prevention is lol. Just where can you use that emote now? Explorable areas? Seems like RPS is now taking over, big surprise. I guess they'll just do the same thing with that. I was worried about that affecting players that went against Lucky Hochei, but no, that's not related.
