more than happy about the storage, the pet thing looks pretty neat too. im sure some people wont be too happy about having to pay for the extra 3 but at least its a possibility, and equipment storage ftw?

I think it means the actual storage chest... so instead of 4 bins (+ Mats)... you can have up to 8 bins... so thats an extra 80 slots of space... for a price of $40...

Well the extra tabs are optional, lasted 4 years without them already.
and we get an xtra bag slot if I read it correctly, so an imporvement there.

Wouldn't it be more cost effective for me to buy character slots instead and use them as mules?
Don't know what the $9.99 will translate to for UK pounds, but it's £5.99 per character slot.

1 character gives 45 storage slots, each tab in the Xunlai chest gives 20 - that's 2.25 times bigger.

So at least we got the update date - April 23th

And a bunch of interesting info.

The Zaishen Coins will probably be rewards for the new quests.

"Equipment Packs in assorted sizes" = cool = not simply 1 size but different ones, sounds great, hope the biggest one isn't easy to get and it's a challenge well rewarded.

Price per storage tab sucks, period. I'll take one mule instead again, even with all the pain connected to moving things between them.

actually the most cost effective solution would be to buy a $9.99usd factions account...more xth points anyone?


the thing i'm looking forward to most is the menagerie...but being on the battle isles means its only for pvp charas?
if so, then, no i'm not looking forward to it anymore lol

only unlocks "common" pets? so no spider? rainbow phoenix?

People have been begging for buy able storage forever,
People have requested a "zoo" as well,
And I have seen the suggestion for daily quests on Guru as well,
Looks like ANet is listening to the players.

I am impressed, this is a pretty big update.

EDIT: The vid has new pets, I wonder if that means they will be capable or can only be bought with faction or "coins".

Well yes, but that's a lot more extra effort. But the returns are greater.
The extra tabs are a mere convinience and strike me as too inefficient (cost wise), not worth the effort for real money.
