What is everyone's opinion on the addition of this collector to pre-searing?

http://wiki.guildwars.com/wiki/Nicholas_Sandford

I find it interesting but not exactly an effective way to farm drunk, sweets, and party points ;-) nice way to get at least some point items in pre that is not strictly limited to farming weekends.

its nice have way get party pts etc, and its nice it has 5 gifts/day limit so cant be overfarmed.
Also its allways nice have some new content atleast on pre-sear when so many ppl waited for someting like that.

I think its a nice surprise for the Pre Searing community. Also Professor Yakkington is probably the coolest Yak ever.

I agree, think it's a nice addition. Let's hope for more nice things to come in this month's update...

I think it's a nice addition. I don't spend much time in Pre, but I still like it. I also think it's interesting that he's a level 20 NPC, wonder what that foretells.

On a side note, it would be nice to have collectors like this in Post Searing as well so you could get fireworks and other goodies year round.

I think it's a pleasant addition for the pre-searing community. However I have to laugh at the way they held back with skill balances so due to stretched resources but they added this content instead.

Am I the only one that thinks this is a reference to Hot Fuzz? Main character, Nicholas Angel, in the town of Sandford. Think about it.

i agree! makes me wish i hadnt left pre so quickly lol. but not enought to reroll a char just for that. and it makes me wonder if they can add that but a few skill updates. or even what him being in pre at that lvl and with a yak means.

a reason to play my pre character again!
however, there are no collectors for party points in post*---hope they put one of them in, would really help with my party titles.

(*except during festivals and special weekends, or from the snowman dungeon)

when is the eater bunny gonna get here. (got my easter basket yesterday with all the yummy chocolates and a cute plush bunny from the hubby from godiva.....and got some new shoes today...only need a nice new dress and I am set).

I think that it encourages perma-pre characters. But it's not a bad idea to add him. A nice little gift for those that have already had perma-pre characters for awhile.

We've actually had that model made back when we made the models for BMP after EotN came out. This little guy has been a little side project for a long time. I'll be posting some of the lore for him I've been working on later. - Linsey talk 06:27, 10 April 2009 (UTC)

I can totally understand this comment, given the fact that you don't know what's in store for the April Content Update. Hopefully when it does roll out, there will be a better understanding of the decision to hold the skill update until May. :-)

Thx for the reply Regina. Hopefully that'll straighten out some of the ignorance floating around.

Oh and this...

Thank you Regina for posting!

It's good to see that Pre-Searing has gotten some love, since so many players have been asking for renovations. Of course, this will also probably encourage many players to buy a character slot

*Awaits April Update*

I hope you mean with your last post that also the skill update will be very big?
