For the last few days I've been keeping track of my runs and I'm interested to know what's the usual ecto drop per run ratio.

For example, I've been doing smite runs with my W/E and I'm getting on average 1 ecto per 2 runs. Is it normal? I'd like to know where do you guys farm (planes, smites, wtv) and what you'd say what you usually get. One ecto every run, two ecto's? Think I made myself clear, I'm trying to see the pattern here. Thanks.

I do uwsc a lot and usually get 2-3 ecto plus the one from the chest if I do pits, chamber or wastes. Anywhere else and I get nothing. :]

I don't solo so I don't know how helpful my ecto drops is lol. Sorry.

I solo Uw with my war, and a month or so ago i was getting like 2-5 a run.

Now i get 1 a run or so. I just started soloing FoW last night so i'll see how that goes for awhile. But i do over farm alot so it might be different for people I don't know.

I solo the Chaos Plains with my assassin and typically get 5-8 ectos per run before the good ol' farm code starts kicking in.

I also 600/smite Wastes with a guildie, and we typically get 0-2 ectos per run.

The old sliver perma still works. I use a pair of zealous daggers to maintain my energy in between SF and Sliver cycles. Just like the times before the nerf, the farm can go extremely fast if you know all the pulls. This is what I use (feigned included because one group of Blacknesses is extremely tough to completely avoid, you'll probably get shocked once or twice before losing them).

I sometimes do the E/Me terra Sandstorm smite farm and my results are something like this:

0 ectos = uncommon
1 ecto = common
2 ectos = uncommon
3 ectos = rare

I miss the 10-a-run chaos planes farm. Q_Q

I've run VwK W/Rt, W/D Scythe, Axe, [[Hundred Blades], and W/Me dual visage, and my ecto drops for a smite/grasp run were 0-3.

I do the W/Rt vengeful and most Ive gotten has been 6.

0-2 ectos per Smite run...doesn't matter what builds I run....same result.

I also do Smites with my Me once in a while. The drop rates are pretty much 0-2. A lot of times it can be frustrating, because around 50% of my runs end up with no ectos. There are times though when I get lucky and get up to 4 of them. Now that's a good day.

lately, 1 ecto per smite run as a w/d around 80% of the time. I've had a big streak of 0 ecto runs, so I'm restraining myself of doing them .
1 ecto (if any) per 10-12 mins makes me seriously wonder whether its worth it - and it defo aint :/. The way things look, ecto will drop further down, so I dont think I'll be uw'ing soon again . 3 ecto runs are fun, but meh :/

I do wastes with my sin now and then, which usually gives me 5-9 ectos per 35-45 minutes.

Ice Wastes or Chaos Plains, Kotte? I've never gotten 9 ectos from a single Wastes (Smites) run, but I've seen plenty of pink gooey Globs drop in the Chaos Planes (Ecto Wonderland) from Mindblade Spectres and Banished Dream Riders.

That's why I don't get some people. Mr.Kotte, Tyrael_Eveningsong, what on earth are you running or what are you doing to get so many from smites alone? I tried doing some planes with a perma sin, wasted around 40k on it's gear and entry's because I screwed up a lot until I got the hang of it. But when I finally reached the chaos planes, stayed there for about 40 minutos and never had a single drop. I honestly don't get it.
