Mandragor farming?

So I've had a quick look through the farming section as well as on PvX and I don't seem to see any builds that tailor to farming these buggers.

Does anyone have any suggestions? Any particular locations they visit for maximum returns?

would appreciate any input.

[[Barbed Signet], [[Unholy Feast] and [[Dark Aura] are the possible damage dealers assuming you're using some sort of anti-spell shield (such as [[Obsidian Flesh] or similar).
Meaning any damage reducing tank with some selfheal + spellshield can farm them.

The drops on them are so-so Bjora Marches is a good spot to farm them easy run from sifhalla. Shadowform works decent but they can get poison through it. In nm they are farmable with a touch ranger using melandru's resistance. I would say reason you dont find much on them is because they are just not very easy or good to farm.

Not sure why you want to farm them, but i do kill them along the way to the vaettri things with my perma. (keg farm)

You can also get the dervish boss aswell along the way. I kill him every time whilst getting to the vaettri, had 3 or 4 elite dervish tomes, and his green twice (its quite crap so i leave it behind)

That collector could be a decent reason to farm Mandragors, although it would require you to farm Mandragors in Kourna, as other regions have different drops. The warrior and elem Mandragors are easy enough to farm in Kourna, it is the Necros that cause problems with their enchant removal and life stealing. I've farmed them with a 55, but always avoided the Necros, which of course slowed me down considerably. Never put much effort into farming them, but wouldn't mind seeing a good method.

I gave them a try using a couple builds, the best I came up with for root farming was a echo vwk rit with mantra of earth. I would say it is easier to farm something else for money first over doing this.

i destroy them with a 600 rit, while 3-man vanquishing nightfall, they're fairly easy to kill. just like someone said above, use spell-denial, vow of silence, spell breaker, obsi, sf, maybe even spell-shield if set up correctly, and damage reduction, a couple aoe skills and you're good to go, i use my 600 rit to vanquish almost everything, because of VwK, kills very very very very fast. gl
