Technical Issue with Feb Tournament Reward Points

There were a few technical issues with the Xunlai points distribution this month. We are going to push another build live today to address the problem.

Some people may have received extra Reward Points due to this technical problem. This oversight will be corrected with next month's build. So this means, if you've incorrectly received extra points this month, next month's update will remove the points that were incorrectly given to you. (Yes, that means everyone frantically running over to the XTH guy because people thought he was giving out extra points.)

We apologize for all the confusion caused by this technical issue.

can they really tell who got points twice? what if a user logged on after the 2nd update and only got the single points

If you don't earn enough to cover it next month, the "debt" will get rolled over to the following month.

How are we getting punished? Only the extra points we didn't earn are getting taken away. If they didn't do that, people would be bitching about how unfair it is that we got extra points.

A-Net screws up and you get punished? It's more like if your bank accidentally (for whatever reasons) transfers $1 million into your checking account and you withdraw it and spend it. They're going to want the money back, and it didn't belong to you to begin with.

so getting the correct number of points is punishment now?

Ah its ok, i to had twice the payment on 3 of my accounts, its fair that i dont get any next month, i will be making predictions as i need to pay of my debt lol

awww. was kinda happy i got those extra points. oh well. guess i'll have to deal with the lesser amount next month. /sadface

Yeah, so here is what happened.

I logged and received the same exact points from the december mATs. which was 130 points.

I thought this was odd after doing the math on what i thought i was suppose to receive for the january mAT. So now i log on and get 80 which is closer to what i expected.

This will hurt a little in the coming months for me. I do see why the roll over, but this really blows. It isn't our fault that someone accidentally gave away the December points again. That is programming 101.

I'm wondering if there are other bugs in the system - I made the exact same predictions on three accounts and got different amounts of points on each account - 55 on one, 30 on the second, 0 on the third.
