Suspended?

Today my account was suspended. I tried logging in and it says I'm suspended for 69 more hours. Thing is, I haven't logged in for over a day. Also, when I'm logged in, I set my status to "Do not Disturb" and hardly ever message anyone in game. It said I was suspended for inappropriate language.

Any idea how this could happen?

Someone at ANet prolly screwed up and banned your account on accident. Or you said something that offended someone enough for them to report you and ANet sympathized and banned you even though you may not have thought it was bad. Really no way to know unless you contact them through Support.

This thread also seems to say that if someone reports you enough ANet will ban you just because the reporter found it offensive.

ask Anet, they should be able to provide you with a chat log.

Although the ban may expire before this is resolved with Support, keep at it. You don't want "marks" on your account. They accumulate and your bans get lengthened.

they suck with the bannings.. the report is a 8 year olds play toy- I mean why would you report someone outside of leeching is beyond me.. get a life comes to mind!! if I called you a bucktooth beaver- I mean how does that affect you really.. unless of course... exactly =p

no begging anet will get you unbanned.. the weirdos have won
