Christmas event question

I got a question about the the christmas events hats this year. Do you have to have a certain amount of candy cane shards to acquire(250) after u attend the event, or can u just attend the event and get the hats without having 250 candy cane shards? Thanks to you all who reply.

hats have been given out every year for free, the shards were for playing dwayna/grenth's little ring game

Bold: It's wintersday, not christmas. Why are people so inflatuated about their own holiday that they forget Wintersday is a combination of at least four holidays: Hanukkah, Christmas, Kwanzaa, and New Years.

For the actual question: Hats are free. You get unlucky and lucky points via having candy cane shards (only need 15 per 3 hours iirc). Hat you get is based on which god wins the district.

Usually, the community sets it up so even=dwayna and odd=Grenth (unless I am mistaken).

Don't worry Azazel, I like your message and you cover it all. Besides, like in spanish, I believe when you have multiple gods and goddesses, it is grammatically correct to just say "gods" because the masculine takes precedence, such as in "Dioses."
