the uw chest is actually almost the same if not faster than the wintersday chest.
1. 8 chests for every uw run
2. underworld chests could be farmed in 11 minutes =]

If they're not that rare, can you give me a couple? I mean, surely you have a whole bank filled with them based on your assumptions.

I know of a few within my alliance but they are of the higher end of pve and hardcore farmers/traders. It is more common this year but most definately not really common.

But one could also farm on 8 characters simultaneously so using you logic that would mean that the wintersday chest could be farmed in less than a minute. And a lot of people are farming the chest in hopes of getting rich quick. So this mini is getting farmed by the second.

In my opinion its not that the MPB isn't rare, but its way to hyped up. I have just seen a person trying to trade it for a Panda. Now thats very flawed if something that can be farmed, even if it is within a week deadline to get it, can be traded for a minipet fairly with only a hundred or so in existence.

But my saying it isn't going to do anything, people are going to be more hysterical for this minipet for sometime before the end of the event. Im simply pointing out what I feel is flawed in the logic and pricing of many.

The price they are right now is ridiculous for anything, in general. But whatever people are paying is what they're worth; regardless of apparent rarity or not.

I'd still say they are pretty rare. Lindsey confirmed the drop rate would be the same as last year. The difference being everyone actually knows about it this year and has been farming not stop since the event started.

Well I am around 200 runs now and no MPB... gonna keep at it. (11+ stacks of CCS now though)

you can farm the uw chest 24 hours a day 7 days a week 52 weeks a year

the wintersday chest is here what 2 weeks a year and has a very low drop rate on polarbears. that is why polarbears are so valuable. besides i feel alot of the people claiming to have a polar bear r blowing smoke.
