Some one told me that people who craft consets en masse are willing to pay good money (more than you will get at a material trader) for stacks of glittering dust. If anyone knows where this sort of exchange takes place regularly, I would greatly appreciate knowing. I assume it would be in Rata Sum, Eotn outpost, and/or Gunnar's Hold, but I have yet to see it happening there.

kamadan is all you need for all your selling/buying needs, glittering dust goes for a very high amount like ~6-7k a stack.

Since when has it been that much?

But yeah, Kamadan generally for Materials, LA Sometimes has sellers/ buyers aswell.

EDIT: He may be getting the dust price confused with Feathers.

Right now at mat NPC, 10 dust for 170g, which equals 4250g for a stack to buy. The NPC will give you 7g per dust or 1750g per stack to take it off your hands.

what darcy said. for anyone to buy at more then trader is simply goofy. to buy in bulk at trader price i can see i guess. it saves on the excessive clicking to buy at 10/click at trader. by why in the name of all things holy would someone pay more than trader? i believe this post is bait, there is an angle here.

All of the above only works as long as the material crafter is not out of stock. Once he's out... prices can go sky high...

Which is not likely to ever happen in the case of Glittering Dust!

A price of halfway between the sell and buy price at the Material Trader is commonly used. That way, the buyer and seller split the profits/savings equally.

I can't remember the last time the trader was out of stock, dust-wise.

Most of the trade in (anything) happens at Kamadan for some unknown reason. L.A. is also a major buy/sell town, but is not as popular as Kamadan. Problem is, you need to have Nightfall to get to Kamadan (and you need Prophecies to get to L.A.). You could also try The Great Temple of Balthazar, which can be gotten to by everyone regardless of which campaigns they have.

If you are wanting to sell glittering dust you can also try posting in the sell forum on here.

I do. And lacking any sellers, I had to farm myself, and it took quite a long time to get enough dust from whites to complete what I was crafting. Vabbian elementalist headwear, IIRC.
