Rarest Skins

Short sword.

NOBODY uses it. It's rarer than any of the other weapons in this thread.

Demoncrest spears seem to be pretty rare. A lot rarer than Voltaics anyway. Took me a couple of weeks to find and buy one a couple of months back and even then i had to settle for a req10.

I use two.

One's +5 e and one is r7.

People love the looks of Voltaic Spears dyed black.

It's not rare, just favored.

Add Dryad to bow, and for Scythe, I'd say Clockwork, that's at least a highly wanted one from what I've seen. With that, I'd say your list is complete.

teh ultimate Everlasting L33t Potion is rare. It maekz u teh uber AnetMod.
Lol I only like the semi-rare Storm Bow.

For daggers I'd like to add the Demon Fangs, man am I having trouble buying one of those.

The problem with me and these skins is that rare as they are, they don't surmount to the level of say(don't FLAME plz) Epic gears in WoW, in that they don't give a stat advantage over a long sword or a suntouched scythe. That being said I have crap skins(vabbian scimitar) but they are gold and have good stats O_o Cept for my warrior I like to flaunt my white eternal shield(no one can tell lol), blue fellblade, blue shadow shield...
Crystalline isn't the best looking, I don't get the hype except for huge epeen.

I got a purple Crystalline Sword out of the quest reward chest in FoW in the Forgemaster area after doing the quest where you defend the area. Not the end reward chest.

The reason behind this was Anet's original motto, Skill > Time Spent Playing. It's what Anet was founded on. Any vet could tell you that. Something that's been lost through the years.
Unfortunately, Storm Bows aren't rare anymore. Nightfall killed a bunch of old skins with inscribable versions.

Yeah pretty much it.. Most expensive stuff come non inscriable though, lucky ppl who faind/saved their from early days with r7-8 and nice stats are the rich ones mostly, Unconditionals, r7, some r8 etc

I havent seen non insc Crystalline with +5ene in last 2 years, wondering is there any still.

Purple crystalline swords aren't really rare anymore. There was a period where farming the kilroy quest was very popular, and a lot of purple crystallines/dwarven axes dropped from the chests.

uninsc gold crystalline, dwarven axe, serpent axe (tyrian skin) are the rarest imo (as they don't drop anymore)
(there is at least one +5e uninsc crystalline (r13))

imo the rarest skins are the ones that aren't highly sought after and thus not farmed/collected. Particularly the skins that are only available/common in the low level areas meaning you can only get max versions in hard mode. And as was said earlier if the skin you want is in tyria/cantha getting a decent version of what you want is even harder. (still trying to get a decent max broadsword).

so as far as "rarity" goes I'd say; skins you can't buy > big name expensive stuff.

but by the same token r7's are still farmed, but they are still rare b/c its near impossible to get a 15>50 r7 (cuz non inscribe) unless u buy from someone else.

yeah tyrian 15>50 or +5e crystallines will top any weapon on any list. tyrian crystallines are only beaten by a lower req crystalline wit the same mods.

crysallines can not be gotten gold anymore non insc, which makes the few non insc perfect modded ones priceless.

rarest skin?...or the weapon with lowest droprate?

Mode change, one time it was Crystalline, Dwarven Axe and Magmas Shield, then Faction came and "new stars where born" mainly from Deep and Urgoz, then it was the Tormented in Nightfall, and a must was Gloom shield.
Now it is Voltaic, emerald- and obsididan blade and Dryad bow.
Silverwing a bit more "rare" because" it is harder to get but still they are all "farmable."
EotN "killed" many rare weapon, because they cut be crafted or dropped as Inscripable and after req 7 stopped, people look at 7/15/al or 6/14/al etc. and perfect req8 sell for high priceses.

But if we look at droprate it is other names

Those are so rare that they even do not appear on the official wiki... They should be rather posted in the Urban legend thread together with terror shield...
