how do you solo ATFH as a assasin?

this is just a guess but if all his attacks deal fire damage you could use mantra of fire for energy and even if it is useless damage reduction Won't work if he is using Shadow Form. Mantras only give you energy when you take damage of the appropriate source (Fire for Mantra of Flame). Since he would be in Shadow Form to prevent damage, he won't be getting any energy from the Mantra.

Most Shadow Form users take Glyph of Lesser Energy for energy management. However, to be able to keep Frigid Armor up enough to be worth using, you won't have much attributes to put into another line for damage. Water Magic can easily provide some damage skills, but I'm not sure which would be useful.

The biggest concern would be the knockdowns from Lava Blast. Get knocked down when you need to recast Shadow Form and it is a quick end to the trip. Monk's who solo this use /Me for the Visages to keep him from using his skills.

I'm not saying it is impossible to solo it as anything but a Mo/Me or a Me/Mo, but I do not see how anything else can do it.

how about using degen from mesmer line along with visage? might work i dont play my sin anymore so youll have to try for yourself. Visages only work if you take damage. Shadow Form prevents you from taking damage. Degen does work, as that is how most 55 Mo/Me kill him. However, an A/Me can't run 55, and Visages won't work with Shadow Form. A/Mo 55 might work I suppose, but you'd need some degen, and there isn't much from Sin to work with unless you invest heavily in an attribute.

If someone can complete A Time For Heroes solo with anything but a 55 Monk or Mesmer, I'll be impressed.
