Sweet revenge is...sweet

Its a pity the summons die too easily. My heroes tend not to heal them, I hate my summon getting killed at the first mob I encounter.

Hmmm. might just want to get one of each of them, for collector's sake.

Gotta catch 'em all.

I love them... I just hope they don't become a "requirement" for high end areas.

I also love them.

The vanquishes that are huge (300-400 mobs worth, or multi map trails like droknar -> beacons for vanquish) benefit from having that additional party member as it really cuts down the time. 1 more target for mobs to spread damage for easier healing and less deaths. More damage output that doesnt require a skill slot.
Also, less deaths (since mobs drop faster) cuts the consumables, and less time needed can also make the difference between needing 1 or 2 consumables. Sure, small maps its a waste, but on those mentioned above you really dont want to be stuck on 56% dp at the final group because you were being cheap.

Almost forgot; you can still have an asura summoner nd the ebon vanguard assassin along with this. This allows you to almost double your party's size, which can make all the difference in a bad pull/overagro or situations you just cant seem to overcome.

The only thing I like about them is the ability to summon an Oni - others don't interest me. And other than that cool reasoning, they suck in anything HM and if you need help in NM, well then...

I cracked a Siege Turtle stone last night doing Eternal Grove HM. Kind of ironic seeing turtles hating on each other.

Having a Siege Turtle minipet and a Summoned Siege Turtle walking along beside me is epic.

Now all I need is an everlasting Siege Turtle tonic, build to scale, which can be used in Explorable areas...I'd give every last ecto and plat I have for it!

The Oni one stuck out to me too, and made me once again wish that I could replace the vangaurd assassin with an Oni as well.

The one that rather pissed me off was that Juggernaut one, the turtle got some nice ranger skills in addition to it's monster skills, why no love for the Juggernaut?

yes Single use is not that great. I would rather it cost 100K or more to get one from the trader. That way they mean something and would never loose their value. I you want to put a gold sink in this is your chance Anet.

I for one.. with almost no gold left cause I and a gildie are going for Unlucky title would gladly pay good gold for one that stuck around like the one that lasts until lvl 20 - the fire imp I think.

Now that would be impressive. oh and one use every 60 minutes and it lasts for 30 minutes.

Come next May when the Zaishen Rewards Calendar is reset...

What are the odds that Everlasting versions of these Summoning Stones will pop up? They will work the same as the Imp stone, or the other stones, just at whatever level, for as many uses as you'd like.

An everlasting one would be nice. But one-use-consumables are such a hassle. I never use them.

Do they make the game easier?

If "yes", then yes you will see them required.

Well they make 4 things easier of course, for when you dont have a team of 8 people on vent.

and P.S I love em too.

These things hardly make the game easier. Having one of them isn't going to make a bad team be able to do something. If you can't do it without one, chances are you can't do one with one.

We have a winner. Don't be too ticked there isn't perminant versions of these things. I think one day there will be.
