Discordway not working... AT ALL!

I've used Sabway for a while now, so i decided to try out Discordway, spent 1 hour in elite zaishen so i could unblock skills and finally got them, spent another 10 mins getting AP (forgot to bring sig of capture first time) then i tried it out at the great northern wall, HM, DIDN'T WORK, the heroes spammed all they're skills EXCEPT discord and i made sure there was a hex and condition on the monsters i was calling (AP + Ymlad) but they still didn't use it, so i gave up.

Any idea why this happened?

1. you fail
2. you didn't bind discord to your keyboard. do that.

problems-you have to CALL the target,and make sure ALL heroes are on GUARD.also make sure YOUR bringing conditions AND hexes since you have AP.

Should work fine...ive used it for almost every thing in the game,and with a bit of forcing heroes to use discord its worked great.

The big question really is - what is the rest of your builds like?
Did you gave the heroes anything else that could be spammed like mad? My guys got confused a few times when I gave them additional stuff - I remember one time giving a guy Stoning (since weakness is always being thrown around) and the guy pretty much used Stoning only rather then spammed Discord.

i usualy replace the 2nd bar in the team with curses instead of resto and use area hexes like [Suffering] and and another area condition [Enfeebling Blood]. (sorry if i didnt do they skills right)

You're using the PvX build. That's why

Your using the pvx build..thats most likely why,im too lazy to log on and check my exact build,but you can whisper me ingame in an hour or so if you want a real discord build.

depends on what the caller has on his bar,but usualy from mi experience is that there arent enough hexes,conditions around,and ofc if they need to keep healing all the time they wont do dmg,remeber they are suport for your healers not your main healers

What's already been said.

Oh and you have to call every target, that's why it's lame. herdPvEwashard? You get used to spamming C+ctrl+space after a while.

i try to use discord party build month ago ... it works only you use discord manual ...
heroes doesn`t spam discord in auto way ... call isn`t so good too. only bind and use it manual.
But i`m lazy and back to use subway ...

judging from those bars, you aren't using enough conditions and hexes especially for a 4 man mission. you need AoE conditions and AoE hexes to make sure the heroes recognize that both criteria for discord are met. [[weaken armor], [[enfeebling blood (pve)], [[suffering], and [[shadow of fear] are all good ones.

I copied the ones from pvx, cos i don't know what i should or shouldn't put Yikes! Such a build is listed as "Great" in pvxwiki?

Over emphasis on minions and bleeding. Bleeding is a weak condition, why can't people understand that? There is no need to sacrifice so many skill slots for it.

And BOTM on a bomber? So the MM sacs his life to make sure his minion bombs do not go off? right...

The PvX builds are horrible.

Drop Rotting Flesh for Ghostmirror Light or another heal.

Drop all copies of Flesh of My Flesh for Death Pact Signet.

Drop Putrid Bile off the second healer as well as all Resto skills and make it into a Curses Necro with Enfeebling Blood, Barbs, Mark of Pain, Weaken Armor and whatever else you decide to use.

Drop Dwayna's Sorrow on the MM for Putrid Bile.

Drop Blood of the Master on the MM for Feast for the Dead.

Drop all copies of Shambling Horrors for Bone Minions.

The PvX build causes you to wipe or near-wipe if AP is interrupted or removed even once, because you won't have any hexes to prep for Discord.

It doesn't work if your target has hex or condition removal. I'm betting you've tried to kill something which can remove hexes - you've only got one hex and it's not a wide-area one.

You don't need to call. The heroes will use Discord if any enemy fulfills the prerequisites (has hex & condition), and provided they're not casting something else. The last bit is part of the reason I don't like bringing three MM's like this, it means they spend a lot of time not casting Discord.

The PvXWiki version of Discordway always seemed horribly suboptimal to me. Heroes don't use Dwaynas Sorrow well, that's basically a wasted slot; you have hard rez on two heroes, but if you need more than the rez-sigs of the henches you're in so deep shit it's probably better to wipe and regroup; Foul Feast + Plague Sending is infinitely better than Recovery; the shambling horrors equals a wasted minion per corpse, I'd bring an AoE hex (like, say, Suffering) and an additional condition instead; where is Weapon of Warding/Vengeful Weapon...

But maybe that's just me.

On top of all that, where is the Enfeebling Blood in that build?

I also dont see much utility in that build. Putrid bile is there only to support Discord, I prefer the hexes in the curse line.

That (No profession / Assassin) assumption is also wrong. I am certainly not going to bring that on my paragon or warrior, go go 10e pve skills. I bet the guy who came up with that build used a necro or a mesmer primary initially but was forced to put up with (No profession / Assassin) by the community for acceptance.
