I realize quite a few of these have already been suggested in some form, but I wanted to toss in my own ideas as well. Our biggest issue is storage. In fact we have one full storage account for every account we actually play, and we still have basically no room for anything else. While we'd love to see increased storage overall, it's obvious the dev's aren't on the same page, so we've come up with some compromises.
One of the issues is the 100p cap on a character, making more expensive purchases impossible. Either this limit can be raised, all additions below need to be capped at 100p, or there can be a 'payment option' implemented (see #9 below).
1. The Menagerie
A purchasable guild hall addition - Cost: 100-250p
Appearance - A little corral type area where all of the contained mini-pets roam free. (or at least a new tab in storage like crafting storage)
Interface - Would behave almost exactly like crafting storage tab, with slots for all possible pets.
Reason - Quite a few of us collect them, and with over 50 available it eats most of your storage.
2. The Kennel/Zoo (from Xeno Breaker)
A purchasable guild hall addition - Cost: 100-250p
Appearance - A larger corral where all of the extra ranger pets roam free.
Interface - Would behave similar to the profession changer, with the available pets listed instead of professions.
Reason - It REALLY bites to care for a pet up to max, then have to dump it completely to change things up.
3. The Inn/Tavern
A purchasable guild hall addition - Cost: 100-250p
Appearance - An actual building, or an outdoor dining/sitting area with a bartender and serving wench. (or at least a new tab in storage like crafting storage)
Interface - Would behave either like a crafting storage tab (with all available consumables having a slot), OR would behave like a Festival Hat Merchant where you can buy donated consumables for a very small fee.
Reason - Just like mini-pets and crafting items there are so many consumables that it takes most of a storage account to hold them. Moreover, it's a pain to transfer them among Guild members. Having a central storage for them would be much better.
4. Patrons
An automatic upgrade to Guild Halls, based on number of people in guild and purchases from the Guild Lord. The more you have in the Hall, and the more you have in the Guild, the more patrons roam the Hall.
Appearance - Roaming NPC townspeople.
Interface - Exactly like town NPCs, except in addition to normal small talk they toss in an occasional bit about the Guild or members.
Reason - Guild Halls are really empty right now, unless you happen to have a meeting going on. Powerful Guilds SHOULD attract attention and followers.
5. Hall of Monuments (from KennyC)
A purchasable guild hall addition - Cost: 250-500p
Appearance - A portal with an honor guard.
Interface - Would function just like the Canthan Ambassador, but would list each of the Gulid member's HoM (or at least the officers).
Reason - It's a royal pain to trade leader roles to visit each others halls. Should be able to honor guild officer accomplishments at least, and let others visit and drool.
6. Environmental additions (from Quid Pro Quo)
A Guild settings option, perhaps with associated costs.
Appearance - At the very least it would be nice to control day/night, snowing/raining/sun/clouds, music, and an option to decorate for holidays. ESPECIALLY the option to decorate for holidays.
Interface - Would be a 5th tab on the Guild window, listing the environmental options and the cost to change.
Reason - Change is good. Money sinks help the economy. Morale keeps us playing.
7. Temple/Statues (from Quid Pro Quo)
A purchasable guild hall addition - Cost: 100-250p ea
Appearance - Either in a central temple or area, or spread out across the Hall.
Interface - Would function exactly like the statues everywhere else.
Reason - It would look cool, it would impart interest in the storyline, it's yet another money sink which keeps things moving.
8. Bank/Storage (from Nilator)
A purchasable guild hall addition - Cost: 250-500p
Appearance - 2 options: either a new tab on existing storage accounts, or a separate Xunlai Vault.
Interface - Exactly like current storage. If a new tab it would only have 20 slots max, and could be tied to Guild size or cost, while holding up to 1000p. If a new vault completely it could be that limited, or increased to being equal to existing storage, again tied to guild size or cost.
Reason - It's not always possible to be on at the same time, making sharing things difficult. It's also always nice to be able to help out the new guy. Having a bit of group plat or group storage to draw from would be very handy, and would encourage guild play.
9. Loan Officer/Bank
Either an automatic addition to all Guild Halls, an upgrade to existing Guild Lords, or a Purchasable guild hall addition - Cost: 100p
Appearance - Xunlai Agent, well dressed
Interface - Basically the same as Guild Lord now, but with a 'so far' column as well as a total cost column.
Reason - It would allow increasing the costs of Guild Hall upgrades, and would allow contribution to upgrades by all members at all times. People just give what they can towards each (or maybe any) upgarde and when the total amount is reached, it's purchased.
Just some initial thoughts. Feel free to nitpick, I'm just spitballing.
