Wisdom and Teasure Hunter Account Based Soon

"Things have been pretty busy for me trying to get everything ready for the upcoming title balance build as well as making sure that Halloween was good to go.

I just wanted to stop in a let everyone know that the Treasure Hunter and Wisdom title tracks will be made account-wide in the upcoming title balance build. We will be pooling the current point totals that players have on any character on the account. Players will need to log in with any character that has points towards this title track for those points to count towards the total, but they will be counted. So you can all feel free to open any chest you like on any character. To identify any rare you come across without ferrying it to your "main". For those concerned about the ability to farm unlucky points with this change, we will also be making adjustments so that this merging of titles will not negatively effect your game play.

2 merging?! i thought they were just going account wide not being fused together.

It means the people farming unlucky points by going on a character with less in treasure hunter to retain less will still be able to retain less and raise unlucky.

I am looking forward to this update. It's a good thing that Anet is working to reduce the grind. Grinding should be something left to WoW. I am one of the few that agrees with Anet on loot scaling and implementing inscriptions because I can see the broader picture that it will help new comers compete better with other players and not whine about how it affects me personally. I just wish they bring back ladder reset to pvp, but that's something else.

I am happy. Even putting chests aside, there's nothing more annoying than spending 5 minutes putting 30 golds into storage then taking them back out on my main just to id them, same goes for salvaging runes and whatnot.

Pretty much what was going through my mind when I read about it. I'll just sit back and wait until November rolls around. Thumbs up on this change.

Yay all those ID's I accidentally ided on other chars do not matter anymore! I also have 2 characters with treasure hunter, so that's 200 pts towards main.
