Armbraces going for 100k+50e Lol...

Wow, I knew Tormented weps were being added to HoM, but didn't expect the price of Armbraces going up by 30e!

That's just...stupid :S

Honestly, how could you not see this coming?

Absent an increase of supply, and with a renewed increase in demand, is it any surprise that prices have risen?

edit: Are people actually buying at that price, or are the sellers trying to inflate it because of the HoM update?

That's just the economy of a superficial materialistic game like GW...

they started at 75e lol there back down to about 60e atm :P

I'm sure they are going to fall right back down once people realize they'll have to customize every armbrace they buy for the monument.....

People should be customizing their weapons anyways.

Yeah cause my monk really needs that extra 20% base damage in pve. Really tho I almost never customize my weapons on the off chance that I will sell it again later. Something new always comes along.

I just went into mine and no new display for the tormented weapon has been added.


Does this mean that You can only display 11 weapons total?

does this mean that other players might be able to play in DOA???

Yeah. Only can display 11 Tormented+Destroyer weapons.

So a full HoM is still a Full HoM no matter what you display in it.

Why would someone want to buy ambrace at 100k+50e if this update does not changes anything to your HoM?

Glad I filled my HoM with destroyer weapons so I wouldn't be tempted to put my torm weapons in. I might actually sell them now...I hardly ever use them anymore.

A curse upon whoever caused the price to drop back down.

The demand for these JUST aren't there.

A) Anybody who could afford one and wanted one probablly knew about this change coming, anticipated it, and bought them already.

B) Pratically nobody is going to add them to the HoM right now anyways until they find out about how the account wide HoM is going to work (ie, nobody is going to customize their tormented sword on there main, a caster, when they can wait a month and customize it on their warrior's HoM which will now go account wide, IF that's how it works). Everybody is going to wait and see.

I'm going even further - as HoM is completely irrelevant in GW1, I'm just not going to fill Weapons/Armors/Minipets monuments even when it goes Account-wide. I can just do that at the moment of GW2 release! Until then Armbraces are better in 1 stack than exchanged for weapons I wouldn't use anyway. Same with other stuff.
