Has anyone else had this kind of luck?

Well, I'm in a newly formed pvp guild named We Need Fame [sOz], and not many days ago when doing HA with my guildies I deleted my second most developed PvE character (a monk) by mistake, with a voltaic spear r13 dyed black in it x/.
On the next day, my guild leader got a draconic aegis and a pyroclastic axe on the zaishen chest.
On the day after that, my cousin (who's officer of the guild) got another draconic aegis in the zaishen chest also.
And on the day after that one, some chinese, who was quiting the game, gave another of my guildies a panda -.-.

And what did I get? Deleted my second most developed and most expensive character with a voltaic in it xS.

eh, your own fault for not making sure which character your deleting.

That's one smart move right there.

I don't get how people "accidentally" delete characters, you HAVE to type their full name in, in order to delete them. Unless you're so dense that you don't realize you're typing in the wrong name....

As for the OP, sucks. Can't say I've deleted the wrong character before, but I also don't get good drops XD. The good news is that q13 volt spears don't cost much .

Lies, you must be completely retarded to delete your char twice, even once is proof of utter stupidity... You need to press delete, and after that, type your name in order to delete it, you dont do that "by mistake".

I'm not flaming, I'm trying to understand... I've accidentally moved a black bandana onto a char I was going to delete because it's freaking invisible and I thought it was an empty storage space, but aside from that, I don't see how you can make that big of a mistake.


EDIT : NOW I'm flaming. OMGEE GUISE I CAN'T TELL THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN MY SECOND FAVORITE CHARACTER AND SOME RANDOM PVP CHARACTER. GIVE ME STUFFS.

How could you type in your char name by accident, not knowing that it's your PvE char ?

Not being completely obvious helps. You actually have to type out your chars name then hit delete... Can you honestly not remember what char you're not suppose to delete?

My intention on making this thread wasn't to get any atention or a new voltaic, was just to create a discussion about stupid things that anyone else has ever done in guild wars like selling high-end weapons to merchants or deleting characters by mistake, that's what forums are for, discussing, but seems like nowadays all forums are flame fests, people simply just can't be mature and act nice to each other.

Now I remenber why I never posted on forums, this was my first and last thread on this forum.

I have 913k on my storage right now (don't have 1000k because I wasted some money on my zaishen rank 1), I could easily buy another voltaic so no, I'm not looking for anyone's charity, but you're free to think what you want.

He never said the char names, but if he did what I do and have an account that all char start with the same 5 characters with slight variations on the rest as well as have similar looking chars easy enough to do. I frequently load the wrong char because I don't look at which one is selected (though tbh, I've never deleted any)...
