What happened to "Dev Update Before Update?"

Maybe the new CR changed that position or can't tell us what it is for some very good reason (or not).

Search through the Dev updates and note the ones that re not done already.

Again, Dev updates also involve multilingual translations which takes time, given the nature of this update, how Linsey has basically pushed QA already to the limits (to the point of not being able to remove a simple skill from an NPC, because that involves people typing it and then translating it into 9 (i think thats how many languages they translate into) languages. EDIT: OK 5, I was totally close.

They probably haven't posted one yet because they want it to be a big surprise, and because they haven't finished translating it yet even. Translations tend to be the last thing companies do for everything because they have to wait for all the notes to be finalized in the home language first.

After I came on board and discussed Dev Updates and procedures with the design team, we agreed that it would be better to release both, in five languages, at about the same time so that we can ensure that both the Game Update Notes and Developer Updates are consistent with each other and are accurate.

Regina, do we have a ETA on these note. Should we expect them this evening, or tomarrow b4 update?

It's being localized over the next couple of days. The Developer Update will be published on the official wiki (also in German, French, Spanish, and Italian) just after the build is live and the Game Update Notes have been published on the website.

Regina, does the localization process mean that the update might not be until Friday?

If the localization alone is going to take that long, this is going to be huge. Maybe.

UW and SF are getting looked at
SF damage penalty is beign reduced or removed
spectres are because ranged attackers
MONSTER update:P

this week could mean friday or the weekend, it has happened before (I forget when exactly) so you never know.

We have had Saturday/Sunday updates, but only to fix exploits or bugs which impact the game in a big way. I've never seen a monster update on the weekend - I reckon it'll be Friday or Monday.
