ideas for events?

well i have come up with a few fun events for the alliance that i am in, like cross country running, or the ever popular scavenger hunt, or the trivia.

but i was curious to know what other games you guys have come up with. i think i remember seeing something like "dodgeball" as a game.

could you please help me out with ideas and how to do them. thank you

Hide and Seek:

One person hides in an outpost of their choosing (limited to the areas before the Fire Isles, Desolation, and Kurzick/Luxon Territories for those that aren't as cartographically inclined as others). They give five hints, such as what color the sky is, weather, day/night, what type of ground (sandy, dirt, grass...), and saying whether it is a mission, outpost, or city. Then everyone tries to find them.

You can make a 'run there' contest.
It would require a forum.

Game master posts a picture of a landscape in the alliance forum.
Rest of players must go there and take a picture with themselves in that landscape.
Winner gets a green item.

First to collect x amount charr carvings and x amount of spider legs.

Obviously the choice of items is down to you.

Edit - Just realized that is prob what the scavenger hunt is lol

Fastest mission completion time is always a laugh.

We used to do Dodgeball before they made it bad and into an event. We also used to do scrims and stuff a heap, that was always fun. And of course, we'd spam /roll 100 to see who could get 100 first while waiting for GvGs.

Oh, and of course, trolling AB. PvE shitters get so mad when you do

Trolling Halls is more fun especially when your randomway beats their build

Yeah for real, gank the team that beg everyone to let them win, or gank the team that are holding, and the rage is HUGE.

Although normally we get ganked by shitway or something lame....so I know the feeling :\

See who can complete HM Tahnakai Temple in less than 15 minutes with no PvE skills?

Dodgeball, and quizzes are always fun. Also 2 player + 6 hero battles, did that for MYST's 2nd Birthday [Video Link: http://files.filefront.com/Second+Bi...fileinfo.html].

We've done a few interesting things in pve such as: all-class events (for example one had 8 Wammos setting out to get an IDS drop from the imps); sealed deck challenges where participants have to make up a skillbar out of 20 random skills for their professions; bring-only-2-skills events for Vizunah Square or THK.

I seem to recall DVDF did something like 12 Mesmers in The Deep, which I'm hoping we can have a go at too - we ran 6 mesmers through the Desert a while back and it was an absolute blast!

Running the worst builds imaginable in AB's and trash talking anyone you kill is pretty fun too.

Another thing I've always wanted to do is kill Emporer Kisu. Basically have a few MM's + a saccer in the Divine Path and keep saccing yourself to death until your minions go hostile and start beating on Kisu. Last time I tried we got him to about 50% health but he had ether renewal and the minions were stubbornly attacking the NPC's around him.
