stupidest thing you've done

post here your stupidest thing you've ever done in guild wars (can be more of them)

so i got this idea because yesterday i was showing a friend of mine all my ectos i collected in a while ( 180 of them ) and that i had enough to buy my obsidian armor for my elementalist. i was on a pvp character and to show them i had to store the ectos in my inventory, so i did... showed them and did some more alliance battles. after playing some battles i was bored and made a new character . since i only have 1 slot for my pvp characters i create/delete them the whole time. this time however i deleted my character who still had the ectos in his inventory (dunno how, but i forgot to putt them back on my storage). didnt realised i made such a painfull mistake untill i did another run with my warrior/mesmer (UW farmer) had 2 ectos that run, and stored them on my storage. surprisingly all my ectos were gone. i checked my current pvp character but it was all too late...

Earned 200k from farming Easter items on one day, then blew 150k on Coffers and Z keys before the Zaishen title came out...

Rolled a dervish.

Fortunately deleted him shortly thereafter

The Stupidest Thing I probably ever done was give away 100k to my friend....

- But than 2 days later I got a whisper from him saying he will pay me back and he actually did! so I never actually did anything stupid and I never got scammed!

5th day in the game i got a q8, gold swampclub drop, 15^50.


merched it (^_^).


o, and farmed 150k in 1 day off raptors durring a festival, after faking sick from school and work.

Traded an Roaring Ether minipet for Lich + 25k.
And bought a dedicated Bone Dragon for 30k.

I really felt stupid. lol.

some guy offered me a free perfect max r7 gold sword and i said i no (i just couldn't scam some one)

where to start ;S...

first big mistake was putting a sup absorb on non-max armor back when they were 100k and you couldn't choose what you could salvage from an item ~ i salvaged common materials

probably the most stupid thing was buying 2 friends fow armor, one who i'd only known for a month or so and he quit soon after the other sold his account...

Also salvaged a freinds warrior fow armor and got 0 ecto 0 shard out of it, he told me he quit playing but starting playing again soon after i salvaged and knew it was me because i was the only other person who has the pw to that account :S

Also done stupid things like merch ecto and expensive items which i kept in inventory before they implemented a warning when you tried to sell equipped items D:<

Catapulting the wrong team's NPCs at VoD (ie mine).

After a week or so of having the game (started right when Factions came out) I was selling a q9 15^50 Flamberge (with 20/20 and +30) for 80k. Someone said he'd give me 100k for it, and in my hasty greed I got 100g for my item ^^

First things first; money has always been tight for me. Now one day, me and my friends were all talking about my other friend who was particularly proud of his warrior "Dragonlord xxxx" So we all decided to make our own Dragonlords, which we did. I promptly had mine run to Droks, bought him elite plate mail, and watch him collect dust as I played my other characters. Waste of money...

Deleted a bunch of elite armors off of multiple characters for space issues. Still regret that. Not that I play multiple characters anymore due to titles, and not that I'd have a place to put them if I still had them (where is my Armor NPC Anet?!).

I'm sure I have other stupid things I have done. I have conveniently forgotten a few things.

Oh my, some of those stories suck. I feel so sorry for you guys. lol

Back when you had to get gems to get access to Razah, I was told I could buy one for 100k. In an effort to make the money, I sold two elite armor sets that I currently had hoping to get some of the money back. All I got out of two sets was 400g. And to top it off, they later removed the gemstones and though I got them back all I got out of it was four Margonite gemstones.

And when I went to buy elite Sunspear armor, I bought leather squares instead of Elonian leather so I had to resell and buy.

This is gunna hurt me..

Minipets. I had a yeti in pre that I had for a long time. They were starting to get real low in post and it was hard to sell it..So I was taking any offer that pple threw at me..Sold it for 300k post..few months later look at how much yetis are now.

Ectos. Had over 2000 at a time and I blew most of them on a max sweet tooth title in pre, and just look at where ectos are at now. (wish i still had them to buy zkeys and crap)

Party Points. I had over 5000+ points in post (before the title) from a recent Halloween event. They sat in storage for a good month then I just sold them because I had no use, then title came out. AND I heard that during the goodbye gaile event they were double pts..I was in a mental hospital.. /rage

Zkeys. Used over 300+ for a video that was put on youtube..then the title came out.

Yea I cant think of anymore times ive done stupid crap. Im surprised I still play this game :P

The stupidest thing I done was... be bad at the game for 18 months then figure out how to play.

Accidentally deleted my sin that had all my money, a bunch of greens and golds on it, and festival stuff on it. I was so mad at myself after I did that.

Oh man, all the funny catapult stories I could tell you.

Also-MMSDome that's pretty epic. Might want to censor some of the more juicier words so it doesn't get deleted by an overzealous mod though.
