It's still in the end, 2 human players commanding a team of AI against each other. Equal odds, both players being tested, their performance is still all in their control. Sure I don't play HBs but I can still see why it's a choice of PvP. |

Flaws in the games design mean that in higher-level play, few if any kills happen, and it becomes a matter of who can shadowstep the most instead of running from shrine to shrine. Also, the more you win, the faster you realize this because all your opponents cap shrines and don't stop. There's no real penalty for having a team of four Mo/A, heal balling and Return/Recall/Shadow Meld everywhere. Snares are ineffective for the same reason. Who cares if you're crippled, if you're half a stage away from anything that could hurt you. The AI has gotten better, but capping shrines need less clout. |
