Another Title Threat, yey!

AH! i KNEW you would click so you could instantly hit replay and /sign or /unsign for the simple reason something to do with KOBD and how "leet" it is.


so for those who actually read, the title idea is Legendary Conqueror. It will be a 1 teir title consisting of 8 slots that need to be filled in order to max this title. There will also be a Statue corresponding with the title name for the HoM.

The title is a markup of clearing FoW,UW,Slavers,DoA,Urgoz,The Deep, Sorrows Furnace, and all Titan Quests.

anyways, I actually like this idea though probably should require both NM and HM completion of each.

I'm not sure why you restricted your idea to elite area quest only because i always thought there should be a title for completing every quest in the game. Completing quest really isn't rewarding after you hit lvl 20 so a title would give them a purpose, maybe a title per continent then an extra title for having done all 3.

Hmm... I was about to /unsign because of my eternal contempt of the concept of titles in GW. But then I kinda realized that doing all elite areas probably needs more skill than any of the protector titles so I guess..

You forgot something... Tombs, that's an elite area too, where is the Tomb love? Where is the necrophilia! (that last part WAS a joke)

I have an addition for the title. Include Campaigns beaten as well (in Normal Mode and Hard Mode). All 4 of them. And along with this title, add a statue for beating Slavers', Tombs, EN, and the Titan Quests in the HoM. And the statue for this title can be a combination of all the statues for the HoM for the elite/campaign areas (either can take up the space of all 5 titles slots, or be veeeery cramped).

Seeing how this is only a 1 tier and it is only 1 title, I see no reason why not to /sign it, doesn't kill KoaBD and it will take a lot of patience with my additions (unless you have a major PvE Ursaning guild or love to PuG)

To get this title, with my additions, you would need to do ten things. (8 elite areas, Legendary Guardian, 1 Quest Chain). More challenge then simply 8 things that can easily be Ursaned. Heck, to make it harder, let's add in Legendary Vanquisher as a requirement to max this new one! (the Vanquisher was half-joke, would be good for making it harder, but that's just going too far imo, for those who might get confused)

Again, /sign, bring on the second KoaBD title! (an Adventurer title would be nice for completing all the titles *not counting those that can only be done by native characters and are mutually exclusive with another quest).

It actually could easily be done Sabway, or even a balanced H/H team could do all of this. Maybe if it was all in HM it would be a challenge? Nah, just get in a guild and you could do it in 3 hours of playtime.

Simply put, you could do this easily with very little brainpower or time put in.

I see no problem with this, they give us titles for opening chests and IDing golds so why not the elite areas? We get statues in HOM for them already so why not a title for them? And make it like the Protector/Guardian titles - one tier for NM and one for HM. Or perhaps combine them, I don't care. Some of these only give us experience as rewards, though the drops are good. Having a title to go with them wouldn't be bad.

However, many guilds and alliances have done UW/FOW runs numerous times and still do it so it would be so easy for them to get. But then again, that brings it back to the point of chests and ID's. That's easy to do and we get titles for them. So I see no problem with this at all.

as is the same with any title, i mean all titles are simply a little bit of appropriately applied willpower to carry on and grind them all out, i used to think that it took a little skill to get all of these without ursan and sabway, but then i started doing them myself about three months ago and saw how much of a breeze it is to do them all given the appropriate amount of required time. And i'm going to have to say that this would be one of the best things for anet to do because hey, finally a new title that isn't a gold sink, gg anet at trying to kill the pocket book of those aspiring for GWAMM.

In theory, there is no title that is a gold sink. Yes, there are many titles you pay other people for, but that is not a gold sink. I suppose you could buy all of your alcohol from the merchant for Drunkard, but anyone who's actually serious about it is going to farm it themselves during festivals, or buy from other players.

tl;dr: There are basically 0 gold sink titles.
