i think so far GW2 sounds good. it seems like they're enhancing the GW1 experience. most people (i'm talking abotu the actual player base not the population of guru who complains about every little thing) in the game are loot crazy. they want to be able to get better and better items, ala new crafting system. i'm looking forward to the ability to have divine favor req shields and what not.
people want to make their characters stronger and strong. so they're raising the level cap. give you more room to invest in other skills and attributes. and also gives the players that play an ungodly amount some sort of reward for it. it doesn't really sound fair that people who play 5 hours a week, and those who play 40 hours a week should enjoy the same benefits. nothing crucial hopefully, but enough for bragging rights (like KoaBD and HoM).
most people play pve and it's really hard for pve players to get seriously into pvp and vice versa. now they're basically making it a unified structure. you need a RP char to pvp, but there's no difference between having a RP and PVP char now because levels all scale in PVP. awesome. now pvp players can do both easily since at least for some time they have to play pve, and pve players can easily get into pvp (which is largest group of players in the game, and so yes they get most of the benefits, deal with it)
